Following review of my eating habits I decided addition of omega 3 supplements would not be a bad idea. I purchased an animal based product which caused my tummy some issues. So switched to this product. Perfect. No issues, easy to take and no fishy aftertaste. Although slightly more expensive I would highly recommend.

I bought a non vegan omega 3 made by another company and it made my eyes go red .. I tried this vegan option and there have been no side effects thankfully .. .so glad I found it.

Overall, the capsules are small and easy to swallow. My only concern is that they do have a slight “fishy” taste, which I wasn’t expecting from an algae-based supplement. It’s not overwhelming, but it is noticeable. That said, these should work well if used as a top-up rather than the sole source of omega-3. You can naturally get a good dose from foods like a palm’s worth of walnut halves or a tablespoon of flaxseed, and then take these softgels 2–3 times a week. Used that way, a single pack can last a couple of months, making them more cost-effective too. In short, they’re a convenient supplement for vegetarians and vegans, but with a slight taste issue that’s worth being aware of.

Good stuff

I switched to these after the usual fish-burps that you get with traditional omega-3. These are superb. Easy to swallow, tasteless, with no repeats. Have just re-ordered.

If you're supplementing omega 3 from fish, please stop: even if you don't respect the lives of fish, the heavy-metal contamination in fish from river and sea pollution can accumulate in your body, causing serious, chronic health issues. Igennus's version is based on plant-based algae, the safe, uncontaminated source of omega 3, so superior in terms of ethics and health. I've checked several algae omega 3 supplements. This is the most potent AND the best value for money.

As a supplement, there are many omega 3 products, I chose this one as a legal us quick to grow and there sustainable, not sure what the feed the Alexandria, additionally bottom of the food chain very little contamination with heavy metals. Do you research as your criteria may be different to mine

Für uns nach umfangreicher Recherche die richtige Wahl wegen der hohen Qualität und die beste Alternative zu Fischöl, das leichter oxidieren kann. Trotz gesunder Ernährung fühle ich mich damit besser versorgt um ständigen Entzündungen im Körper entgegenzuwirken (wir brauchen den Ausgleich zum recht hohen Omega 6 Anteil in unsrer Ernährung). Gerade für meine Eltern (beide über 70) ist die zusätzliche Versorgung wichtig.
