Pilestone TP-028 Lens B Color Blind Glasses Sporty Style for Strong/Severe Red-Green Blindness Indoor/Outdoor Use

I got these for a friend, to surprise him with, and man. That was such an amazing experience, to watch him experience color for the first time. His only complaint was that they over saturated greens, but that was because they are for outdoor use, and he was indoors, but upon reading the description on the seller's website, it specifically notes that they're for outside. So 5 starts from us! Thank you for changing lives!

I have tested my vision several times for color blindness using the Ishihara method in both Pilestone's and Enchroma's website. I have used a professional color calibrated graphics monitor for this. My results: Strong deuteranomaly (red/green). Personally, I have some difficulty to see the difference between reds, greens and browns when they have the same intensity, and are shown in small quantities (like the color code on an electronic resistor). After trying these glasses, I was disappointed. I didn't get any miracle vision. The only difference that I could notice is that the reds appears more lighter. and the greens are much darker. The lighter reds look more like orange now. The frame construction of these glasses are uncomfortable to wear and the lenses have not been evenly dyed. You notice that these lenses are darker in the middle and become much lighter towards the edges. To me, this was too expensive for the low quality and no useful results.

Ok so my husband is color blind. I got these and we took our boat out sailing, my husband had such a great day he didn't think it could get any better. So once we got back and anchored her in and the sun was starting to set I told him I had a surprise for him. I went below and grabbed the glasses. I said babe I know your color blind and I have done research and I got these for you. He put them on and started crying. He saw his wife for the first time in color. He saw what beautiful ocean water looked liked, he was amazed at what trees looked like, and we sat their on our boat and watch the sun set. Colors he had never before have ever been able to see. So I am so thankful these glasses were available and affordable. Life changing!!!

I bought these for my Grandson. He says he loves the color orange, which is his summer hockey color. He also can see fish in the water. That is enough to make it worth it.

Loved the shape, style and comfort. Ultimately had to return them because green traffic lights were almost invisible with these on.I think the technology they use isn't specific enough to differentiate between weak red and weak green color blindness.

Although the test charts had me with severe deutan, I cannot say these glasses make a drastic difference reds and blues are a bit brighter and I can see the green of traffic lights, but the green of trees and plants takes on a bit of brown. Strangely, I see more green in plants without them on. I guess I was expecting to see tints and shades of colors I hadn't seen before. i have not.

I liked that it appeared to help me. The second time I put it into the case the left support broke off. Bummer as the lenses will help but the frame on mine was very fragile. The screws on the replacement pair seem to be screwed in well and hopefully will last for a while with normal use. Pilestone customer service took care of me..thank you

TOTAL SCAM (LIKE THE OTHER REVIEWS)As a Strong Deutan I can see most colors, but shades of red and green allude me... especially when attempting to distinguish where one color starts and another begins.These glasses change the color of everything in site like tinted sunglasses and give everything a "rosey" hue....even clear windows are tinted. I cannot say I can see colors better, but can pass the color blind test... with effort.I although may be able to distinguish where red and green "start and end" to pass the test, this is not at all a correction to my ability to see color as everything changes.Very disappointing.

Frame broke within 2 weeks of gentle use. Cheap sunglasses last for years!
