Very good base coat for thin, splitting nails
This is a very clear, shiny, polish base. I do not see any evidence of yellowing and it has stayed on my nails for several days.It seems to have decreased the amount of splitting and breaking my nails are suffering from.The polish base goes on smoothly and easily. It is light and adds a thin coat of protectant to my nails. I am pleased with this purchase and I believe the value for the cost is worth it.

Dries fast and stay on for days
I applied the nail polish kinda half hearted because I was bored and waiting. It dries super fast and even a couple days later it still hasn’t chipped or scratched off. This might be the best base coat I’ve ever bought. Looking forward using it in a proper manicure :)

Good product. Big fan of Essie products. Used this under a dark red with no staining afterwards. No peeling of nails either. Good brush.

Necessity for brittle nails
Between this base coat and Hard as Hoof lotion, I've been able to grow natural nails for a few years now, where I couldn't at any point before. I work a job where I wear nitrile gloves several hours a day (sweat causing polish adhesion issues) and am pretty hard on my hands in general. Tried probably half a dozen other base coats prior to this, and this one extends my polish life on top of helping keep my nails from breaking at work.
