Great LED’s, fantastic efficiency. Rugged as hell and has effortlessly trucked through humidity, gnats, dust, debris, storage, and shipping multiple times. Still runs like a champ over 3 years later. Super nice for keeping plants and cactus going over the winter; it’s so good at passively dissipating heat that it noticeably warms up whatever room you’re in.Even my dog doesn’t know the difference between these lights and sunlight. Recently bought another one to use for starters. Worth every penny.

The media could not be loaded. I own both models: SF1000 and SF2000. The light has a simple, polished design. No need to assemble. The aluminum board is thick and sturdy. It gets hot to the touch, but its much cooler than other techs. Rubbery coating reduces risk from splashes. The driver is solidly fixed in place, resulting in a solid unit.No power is wasted on fans or inefficient drivers. And the Samsung diodes offer a high efficacy rating of 2.7 umol/J. I like the blend of LED colors. Some quantum boards only have a single color for all diodes. Compared to them, this LED has a more complete spectrum.USAGE:The rectangular shape produces a different light distribution pattern. I estimate the light will evenly cover a 48" x 34" area at a distance of 27”. This would be excellent for low-light or vege plants. For mature, high-light vege / bloom plantings: 43" x 28" at a distance of 24”. For very high-light BLOOM / BUD (medicinal) end stage growth: 36" x 20" at a distance of 18”. Magnetic vs electronic ballasts vs doubled ended HPS systems all have different rates of efficiency. So it depends on the type of HID and its specs. I've recently compared this light to a brand name Quantum Board by HLG. Two of these SF-2000s would produce almost the same amount of light for HUNDREDS of dollars less. Or you could even buy THREE of these for that much money and your light output would greatly exceed the HLG unit.DIMMING: There's confusion about the dimming options for this light. Some sources claim the SF2000 cannot be dimmed. It has a 240 watt driver that is already underdriven from the factory. Well, I was able to dim mine with no apparent issues. I took it all the way down to 50 watts. And then I decided to lock it in at 75 watts to vastly outperform a 4 bulb, 2 foot T5 fluorescent system. You MUST have a wattage meter to do this. And you should NOT raise the wattage above factory settings!This light is a huge a step above DIY set ups. The Spider Farmer LEDs are better than many other quantum LEDs sold on Amazon. Three year warranty sounds great. Seller includes contact info to get in touch as needed. But hopefully I won't need to!CONS:Because there's no external switch, the dimming option is not convenient for frequent on-the-fly changes.

This light is very well made and as well easy to manage and lightweight very quiet and bright let’s see what it can do

One of the power supplies went out on my light and I am having a very hard time getting it warranted by spider farms after 30 days you can no longer get it warranty through Amazon you have to go through spider farm and they are very very very hard to deal with. I have 2 of them and they have been good light. Very happy with light very unsatisfied with customer service.

Growing medical + cannabis. Just as all things concerning money they have to have some type of rating , purity, conformity etc. what I have deduced of the weeds journey is lot’s of people would like to make a lot of money from it .as in the gold rush business model ,do you want to be a miner or sell shovels and potatoes. So good weed is still hard to find,and the only way you are going to get the truly weed of fable.dispensary grow and processed weed is processed.it is grown in large amounts harvested at MAXIMUM WEIGHT/NOT POTENCY,and yes it very good weed but the vandalism will soon occure,it will have nice surface fuzz some frosting , and maybe some sparkle . They probably submit the raw trimmed bud for lab tests, as I can think of no other they get the the ratings they claim there’s no way some of this weed rated at over 20 percent is even 12 percent. This nice professionally grown bud is not the one you can buy,first it is sorted,given a professional haircut into just a darling little coco puff,your best part of the bud is. Now on it’s way to become edibles,oils,and so on and so on . So basically the bag of weed you just bought at the dispensary,as perfect as it looks,it is actually the waste product of the system.if you want real effective marijuana of proper strength and composition. If you grow your own,not all plants are going to measure up,some plants in your legal grow will develop better than others even in top quality feminized seed stock,you will get good plants ,and exceptional plants ,these can be pushed with the aid of top quality nutrients currently tps and proper effective lighting,you can grow the legendary plant blobs of clear resin dripping down the sides of buds that you have to put a splint on to keep from snapping the stem.but you don’t take the plant down at maximum weight ,you run past that at top strength it will have lost a little weight.now don’t cut the whole plant down at once,take the top , maybe a couple more,be patient,you are about to at least double your crop of premium weed,that you can’t buy because no one who pushes it this far will sell it.now let it cook some more,you can get at least 3 to 4 premium trimmings of the plant , just follow it down ,so not commercially possible but if you want a hobby and more insane quality weed than you,and those close to.you could ever smoke give it a go.this is my final spyder farmer light,my last hps and metalhalide lites are out for the first time in 25 years.the spider lites are more penetrating and stronger though the entire spectrum,plus totally silent , some heat but no real problem,no more air mover drawing air through lites for cooling,its getting really quiet here
