Surprisingly...it works very well...Update 8-6-21
UpdateIt's over a year later and it's still working with no issues. I lost the remote but I never used it anyhow...this thing auto switches with 2 things on the same channel. If i have to switch to another channel I just push the button the back.I was a bit skeptical about getting this because of all the suspect and bad reviews in general. Problem was...I needed an HDMI switch to use a Raspberry PI and a PC in 1 HDMI slot. This unti had the least amount of bad or dodgy reviews...so I said.."why not?"...well...it works.A few things I like about itIt automatically detects when one device is turned on and will switch to that device without the remote or switch on backIt absolutely does not get even warm to the touch. I've had hours of use with this little thing and it's dead cool. The lights on this device are minimal...3 lights on back that indicate how many devices are plugged into the unit. After your tv and device turn off...the lights do to...No ambient room light at night. And it's the old style Red light...not the newer blue or green thats so bright.Comes with a usb cable for power and a wall wart to power it.things I don't like. The remote is as cheap as they come. I haven't used it and don'tintend to..the button/switch on back work fine for changing ports.didn't come with an HDMI cable. Could have at least come with a cheap one. I had toscrounge for one..but managed.Neat little device. Does exactly what I need it to do.

Nice, solid little switch
I use this to connect Amazon FireStick, Roku and Chromecast video with my 2nd PC monitor (not 4K, but now I'm prepared for my next upgrade). The switch works well; all images from input sources are sharp. Auto, manual, and remote input switching all work flawlessly with about a 4-5 second delay. The small size of the switch takes up little desktop area and the all metal case feels solid and durable. Wider spacing (3/8" vs 1/4") between ports gives more elbow room for HDMI streaming sticks, eliminating the need for short extension cables, further reducing desktop clutter. Inexpensive, but doesn't feel cheap. Micro USB cable and power adapter included.Deducting one star (only half a star, if I could) because of the design which places the HDMI output and power ports on the front of the switch. This creates a challenge of neatly routing those cables, especially the thicker HDMI cable. You can't just rotate the switch because the IR receiver is also on the front of the switch. My solution is to use a HDMI swivel adapter to route the HDMI cable vertically (see photo). Not the most optimal solution, but it eliminates the cable laying on the desktop. I also used a right-angle micro-USB cable for the power input to make it easier to route the power cable.

Tiny But Mighty
Another solid product from Koopman with this 3 port HDMI Switch! I needed a solution for a 4K TV that I mounted to the wall and didn't want to run so many wires thru the wall, so I wanted to make sure I found a switch that would support full 4K at 60hz with HDR. A lot of similar products I looked at either didn't clearly say they supported these specs or if they did the 4K resolution was capped at 30hz, so when I saw this one with very detailed specs from the seller I knew this would be the one I needed. This small form factor switch has a casing that is made of a brushed metal material which gives it a more premium feel to it, and includes an IR Remote, Power Adapter, and cable. The only thing I wished they would of done was to put the Output and Power port on the side of the unit to allow a cleaner look up front if placing the switch in an area that is clearly seen, but that is just my opinion. As far as functionality it works great and I'm able to now have my PS4, XBOX One, and Apple TV connected to one HDMI port on my TV on the wall and still enjoy the sweet visuals of 4K HDR!

Does what it's supposed to...but...If I had only known...
...that I would have to do some massive jury-rigging to my system, I would not have purchased the HDMI Switch 4K HDMI Splitter, Koopman Aluminum HDMI 2.0 Switch 3 in 1 Out, HDMI Switch with IR Remote Control.Pros:Compact size.Remote includedCons:HDMI output and DC 5V input on the front of the unit, as well as the Infra-red sensor This makes you have to use at least 6 foot HDMI cables for your output to the television. I had envisioned this device to handle my satellite, ROKU, and BluRay player as inputs, with the output for all going to the HDMI1 input on my television. That was a good idea...in theory. Not a good idea as it turned out with this device. I hooked everything up, and all seemed to work, until I got the satellite on and attempted to increase volume or change channels with my satellite remote. The remote changed the IR input on the switcher! So I had to take the satellite HDMI out of the unit and replace it on HDMI2 on my television. So the Koopman unit partially works. In my opinion, this device needs to be re-designed. But it's a decent device. Almost does everything I needed it to do and at a decent price point.

Amazing for gamers
It’s high quality, easy to use, and really affordable. Don’t hesitate to get yourself one.Pros: - Quality in picture doesn’t drop. I use it for my switch, ps4, and Xbox one and I didn’t see any drop in picture quality or any added lag. So those of you who play competitive games don’t need to worry.- The included remote is really nice. It responds fairly quickly when you’re switching between your devices. Works a lot better than most “higher quality” brands out there.- The device itself is also really small, so finding a spot or hiding it in your entertainment setup isn’t an issue.- It has onboard controls. So in case you ever lose that little remote you can still switch between the sources. You’ll just have to press the button on the actual device.- Affordable! If you’re thinking about buying one but not wanting to spend a ton of money this is the perfect choice. It does everything that a really expensive HDMI switch hub does.Cons: - Short power cable. It’s about 3ft long. Luckily it is a micro usb cable, so buying a longer one isn’t an issue.
