Over-sized for a tenor ukulele - be prepared to add padding
An instrument case should hold the instrument securely and snugly. It should not allow the instrument to shift about within the case. This case is described as fitting for a 27" tenor ukulele. Actual inside length is 28.5" with proportional width. A 27" tenor ukulele swims in this case, with large gaps all around. This defeats the purpose of a case since the instrument isn't held securely and snugly in place but is left free to careen about against the inside walls. You can remedy this if you are willing to fit it with some additional padding. Otherwise, seems sturdy enough, is light weight, and would be a good value if it fit a 27" tenor ukulele.

Can't find a better option for the price
The case came in your typical oblong cardboard box so naturally I thought this thing would be smelling to high heaven of manufactured plastic and bpa. In fact, I was very wrong; the case has a smooth finish and the sturdiness is beyond compare. As far as thickness of padding, we're talking a good inch or so of soft foam that would cradle whatever you throw inside. I'm very happy with my purchase and look forward to creating my customized case from this very well built ukulele case

Vintage-looking case for your ukulele
I'm pretty impressed with this little case. Glad I bought it. Nice thick plush interior with a little compartment for a tuner, cape, picks, etc. Bought this for a Lanikai that I purchased but ended up using it with a Kala. It is a dead-ringer for a Gibson Les Paul Jr case that I bought back in the early 90s even down to the vinyl/rope handle (which may be a negative as those old handles didn't last long). It didn't come with the straps but the seller shipped them out to me quickly. Make sure you measure your uke. It fit my Lanikai perfectly. The Kala is a tighter fit but works.

Met my expectations and more
My great-gradson just had his 7th birthday. He requested a hard uke case so it would protect his instrument. He was so excited about the case, said that it was so soft inside that he would live in it if he could fit. His Instructor really made a big deal over it so it sealed the deal. It was more than i wanted to spend but the resulting joy was worth it.

Missing Straps
When I received case it was missing the straps. I contacted seller and he mailed them to me (it took about 2 1/2 weeks to receive) He said none of the cases had straps, there was a failure to add them at source of manufacturing. It seems strange they were not then ordered by seller for the cases he had on hand, instead of waiting for buyers to mention/complain of missing straps. On the case itself, I am happy with it. My Kamaka baritone (29.5 inches long) fit well in it. Ukulele was snug and it looks like it should be well protected. For the price I am satisfied. The latches were sturdy and nice looking. I would have preferred a black case, but the finish of this brown one was nice. It does not look like leather (maybe a bonded leather, which is not as durable). I read the handle may not hold up, but it looked in good shape out of box, and if need be I can wind real leather strips around it if it starts to show wear. There was a different black case I was considering, but it was more money and someone mentioned the outside vinyl had torn on theirs. Overall I think I will be happy with this case.

good price and a handsome hard case
Not all hard cases are the same. I liked the good looks of this case and the antique finish on the hardware. I hope the handle hold up as it is wrapped. However, most other hard cases for ukuleles have molded plastic handles and this handle is padded which makes for a more comfortable grip. As my cases age, I collect stickers and the stickers give my case a unique look. ;-)

Beautiful vintage style case
This is a beautifully crafted and well constructed ukulele case, I love it.It holds my vintage 1920’s Richter Soprano with wood tuners perfectly and the cases vintage appearance compliments it well.Very heavy duty case you can be sure will protect your investment well.

Great bargain
I was even happier than I thought I'd be with this case. A Martin Uke got busted in the original soft case so I opted for this one because it looked sturdy and well built. The Soprano 21' Uke fits like a glove. Very happy customer.

High quality with vintage look
This is a well crafted case that certainly justifies the cost in terms of quality work, materials, and visual appeal. The brass hardware is very sturdy. The inner lining is economical but well distributed. If I had to check this in on a flight, I would only hesitate a little bit but would feel confident if I absolutely could not take it into the cabin with me.At $80 CAD you're well into the range of a good quality concert ukulele without electronics. However, you may develop a certain sentimental attachment to your instrument over time that can't really be replaced with money. Especially if you take it everywhere.(Picture is of a Denver Duke Concert Ukulele)

Not the best, but not the worst.
I was in love with this case, as soon as I took it out of the shipping box. The colour, the texture of the cover on the case and the straps are wonderful. Unfortunately, the cover of the case is ripping and peeling off already. Also, the lock on the latch is pretty chintzy and doesn't really add much to securing the instrument in the case. Screws on the hinges are exposed, so if someone were to actually want to you steal your ukulele out of the case, without breaking a lock, that's how they could do it. If the cover layer on the case was better quality, was glued and stitched on better and if the lock was better, I could say that the cost for this was justified. Left a little disappointed, but not totally let down. Look elsewhere at this price point, but if the price was lowered by 30 or $40, this would be a bargain.

Falling apart right out of the box.
If I could give this no stars I would. The craftsmanship is horrible! This is right out of the package never used. It's already falling apart. Not to mention I cant even get the case open. It is no where near worth that money. I'm returning it asap

Excellent case!
Excellent value for money! Fits my Kala KA-CEM concert ukulele perfectly. Even room for a strap, tuner, and picks. Went with this because it's light and provides more protection than the soft cases and is not as pricey as some of the higher end hard cases. Also I love the vintage look. Will be a great case whether I stay with the same uke or upgrade to a higher end concert uke. Get this if you are needing a case.
