Dorel Living Clairborne Upholstered dining chair, set of 2, Gray

First, they have more of a blue tint to the gray than is pictured, but my husband and I decided we liked the shape so we kept them. After 3 months the front leg of one of them was wobbly, when I went to tighten it, the wood piece that secures the leg to the chair crumbled into pieces! My husband and I live alone and we rarely use these chairs. I think we have used them a handful of times, so we were really disappointed. Will be replacing with another chair.

Love! Super easy to assemble. Turn the chair upside down, unzip the liner & the legs are inside. The hardware includes an allen wrench which really helps! As long as you completely tighten the hardware, the chairs are very sturdy. I got them in gray & get nonstop compliments on them.

The media could not be loaded.  I needed 6 chairs to go with my new dining room table, and the color and largely positive reviews for these chairs had me pretty excited, but still I only bought 2 initially as a ‘trial’ to make sure my expectations weren’t too far apart with reality. The first 2 chairs came and they were perfect. Assembly was a breeze, construction seemed decent, the chairs were comfortable. But the good news stopped and the nightmare began following my order of the final 4 chairs...the screw holes for the back legs on 3 of the 4 chairs are misaligned AND the cutouts adjoining the leg and the cushion are cut too wide and therefore don’t remain tightened following assembly (see video). Others have reported similar issues and I thought they might be one off but I don’t know that this could reasonably be the case over the past month of inventory. I spoke with Amazon about the issue, and agreed to have the faulty chairs returned and replaced with new chairs... the 2 I have received have the exact same issue. So now I have 3 chairs that are safe to sit on, and 5 chairs that are defective in the same exact way... luckily I don’t have small children and no one has sat on these chairs unlike another reviewer...horrible experience, massive waste of time and now I still have to figure out how to get a refund and ship all these things back...Also, fwiw I called Dorel Living about the issue since the assembly instructions mention to call them first before reporting an issue to the retailer and they said they couldn’t do anything since it’s a defect and to contact Amazon. Thanks for nothing. No clue why Amazon lists these chairs as ‘Amazon’s Choice’ ?!

Beware, in a 12 day period of time Amazon change the price on this product four times from $139.99 to $235.99. Tried to order at $139.99 and they were sold out. Three days later back in stock but only had one and they charge $235.99. Three days later, back in stock and the price was $201.99. After numerous calls and over an hour on the phone Amazon would not match their own price and insisted I needed to pay the 2 different prices. Neither of the products have yet to be delivered and they were ordered 10 days ago. Today the price is $219.99. Amazon would not allow me to cancel the orders. They told me I could return them once they were received. What a waste of shipping expenses. Ordered the first product on 11/17 and as of today delivery is scheduled for 12/6. The supervisor and Amazon would not meet the prices even though I had not received the chairs. She said that they check prices of competitors on a daily basis and change their prices accordingly. Never had such poor service at Amazon.

These chairs are gorgeous. I didn't realize the leg pieces were inside of the lining of the chair. I thought the company forgot the legs and almost returned the chairs. I felt like a dummy when I realized they were zipped into the bottom of the chair the entire time. They came way sooner than was expected. Beautiful quality and a I love the soft gray c They look super expensive. I would definitely would recommend these chairs!

Ok people yes, the way these chairs are packaged you will have little indentations on the cushion. But they will go away! :-) (and really, they are not very noticeable)... The fabric is a very soft velvety/micro fiber which I love. I purchsed the grey color which is hard to tell in my pictures because of the ugly soon to be painted yellow tan walls. The chairs were very easy to put together! Im a few months post op from a very messy back surgery and I was able to put two together by myself with husband doing the other two (we made it a race- took all of 15 mins once out of the box). These are high quality chairs at a modest price. I highly recomend!Note: legs of the chairs are more light espresso or cherry instead of dark espresso (in case you have a very dark table like mine).Update: still beautiful and in great shape!

I ordered 8 chairs and all were delivered without issue. I followed several reviewers tips on tightening the legs with the chair upright to get it level (I'd also recommend putting some weight on the seat while doing so) and it worked out great. Of the 8 chairs, 2 had a leg that was shorter than the rest but the wobbling isn't noticeable when you're sitting in it. They do take some time to unbox and assemble, so I did 2 each night (~30 minutes). Also, pleased with the seat cushion, it's nice and thick, pretty comfortable! I love how these chairs look in my dining room, would definitely recommend!

I usually don’t write reviews at all unless is too good or too bad, but this one I have to share... I got 2 pairs of these chairs on December, and my biggest fear was the material. As is fabric and not wood, I don’t wanted to be a material easy to get stained and dirty, but I’m surprised how clean and new they look even though me and my husband use them everyday with at least 2 meals. 4 months later and we have no stains, (we already dropped food accidentally on it) they look like they just came from the store. I highly recommend this!! They’re gorgeous, classy and will give to your room an extra finesse and elegance ❤️ Love it!! I would buy it again and again!!!
