5.11 Tactical All-Weather Nylon Single Pistol Case, Fully Padded Interior, YKK Zipper, Style 58724

Ordered sandstone...got sandstone. If you're expecting FDE don't order it because sandstone is a wee bit darker...but not as bad as claimed by "that other guy" who didn't know there was a difference. This puppy is well made, nice zippers and pull tabs...will take 5 double stack mags but is better suited overall for smaller staggered stack mags and a small full size or compact pistol.I'm using for a CZ 75 SA and a Kadet 2 slide and it's PERFECT. 2-9mm mags, the Kadet slide and 2-22lr mags occupy the mag loops and the SA goes in the zipper pouch.You'll need to buy one of those small brass locks to comply with statutes that may apply in your state as the zipper pull holes are really small, and made of polymer...but that shouldn't matter as soft cases are NOT meant to be secure. The ID patch is NOT Velcro and once written on...that's it. The padded area of the mag side has a Velcro strip (second photo) allowing full width access to the padding...you could get your seamstress to sew on a Velcro patch for the outside.

What can I say that hasn't been said before? It's a 5.11 case. It doesn't get much better than this at any price. Tough, quality materials are used throughout, and the workmanship is impeccable.I use this to carry a 5" 1911. It also has containment for five mags, and, although not intended for storage, has a velcro secured pocket that I keep manuals & paperwork in.A slightly larger weapon may be accommodated in this roomy case, as well as smaller guns.I find it a perfect fit for the full sized 1911.

While this is a reasonably good case, it doesn't look like they tried particularly hard. They made a case, slapped their name on it, and let it out the door. I expect more from 511, and in this case they just didn't deliver. There is nothing to secure the weapon in place inside the case. I've noticed that most cases lack this feature, and it is unfortunate to say the least. A decent price for the money, but certainly not one I'd recommend.

I purchased this case as a way to keep a limited edition gun from getting scratched in my safe so I am not using it as a actual range bag. The case is made from high quality materials and I can tell this will last a long time. The pocket for your pistols is padded which is nice so that it keeps you gun safe if you bump or drop the case. If you are someone who wants to use this for the range I would also recommend this as it is made with high quality and you can store additional pistol magazines. This is not a case that you can put ammunition or hearing protection in, it is only for your pistol and additional magazines.

I really like these cases. Well made from heavy weight fabric with sturdy stitching and zippers. Zippers are plastic but thats OK for me as they won't mar finishes. Handles are double stitched with backers. Plenty of room for full a size pistol with rail light. I put mine in the case inside their kydex holsters. Has a flat velcro closure compartment inside behind the mag holders that is the full size of the side of the case. It comes with a foam pad stuffed in it. I took out the pad and use it for storage as both sides of the zippered pistol compartment have padding built in and it makes for a little more useable space inside the bag. The case is lined with the same woven fabric that the shell is made from. Others I have seen have some type of thin fabric lining that is more susceptible to wear and tearing. I have been using these cases for over a year and they are holding up very well. Fairly discreet with only a small 5.11 logo sewn on one corner.

In brief: zippered, lockable, interior zippered pocket, interior mag elastics, quality construction, compact.Overview: Two zipper pulls on the outside, each with an extra loop for locking together. Unzip and the case opens flat like a book. On one side of the interior, you have 5 elastic holders for magazines or anything else you might want to fit in there as long as it is relatively flat. On the other side is an interior zippered compartment for your pistol. I am able to fit my relatively sizable XDm 5.25 Competition with ease, but it is snug enough that it doesn't slide around due to too much room.Zipped up, the case is relatively slim and compact (depending upon the size of your pistol and mags). It's small enough to fit into my daypack which I use for a range bag, so I can avoid drawing attention to myself to and from the range. Even if it didn't fit in my bag, this case is understated enough that if you carried it by the handles, nobody would really be able to tell what you're carrying.Unzipped and open, it lays flat enough to provide a good cleaning surface for your gun. It's not a conventional pistol rug, per se, but it will definitely provide a clean, flat surface on which to work and help keep pieces from getting scratched or rolling away.It seems solidly built, stitched well, has good padding, and is just a really quality piece of gear... even more so when you consider the really good price. Fabric is kind of "slick" like a backpack, so I don't see anything catching on it, and it feels like it won't scratch my pistol or mags, either. I shopped around for quite some time looking for just the right combination of functionality, size, and price and I finally found it. This one's a winner.

Very good pistol case. I’m accustom to 5.11 products having previously owned the 5.11 Rush 12.This case houses a Sig Sauer P226 Air Pistol (UK laws), pellets and CO2 canisters well. It’s well padded and has protected the contents inside well. Would definitely recommend.

Bought for storing and transporting an air pistol. Well made and padded. As described there are lockable zips (to keep things secure) and elastic loops for holding accessories. Opens up flat and makes a clean work station for sorting out pellets etc.

Great pistol bag, just what I needed to carry to the range.

Gewohnte 5.11 Qualität. top Verarbeitung. tolles material. die tasche wirkt recht klein und handlich, dürfte auch für die sig sauer p320 (full size) keinen millimeter kleiner sein, aber so ist die Pistole gut verstaut und hat keinen Spielraum zum herumrutschen, trotzdem lässt sich der reissverschluss gut öffnen/schliessen und es ist nirgends zu knapp. mit 3 Magazinen, 1x mini-putz-set und 1x messer auf der gegenüberliegenden seite ist die tasche natürlich gut gefüllt aber trotzdem nicht übervoll oder grenzwertig gespannt, der vorhandene platz ist halt ausgenützt und mehr ist da halt nicht, wozu auch. alles in allem eine tolle tasche, genau wie erhofft und erwartet, schlicht, robust, klein und handlich, in top Qualität.... und schön schwarz......genau wie der ballermann :-)
