Battery Organizer helps with keeping batteries in one spot
As others have commented, you have to push the batteries into the tighter holes (and they won't fall out). It does take some coordination to get the batteries out of the TIGHT bays. If you have painful hands, fingers, etc., you may want to get a holder that if you drop it, your batteries scatter everywhere. At least, you won't be trying to wrestle batteries out of their sockets. Yes. You have to wiggle, mentally say a few unkind things about the holder, and feel relief when you finally get them out. It would be nice to have a cover, but then, it would probably break. You really don't need one as they won't fall out. Here's an idea! Put a battery REMOVER in the organizer to fix this problem! I just wish they provided more space for AA batteries. I have small sensor lights all over my house, kitchen and bath cabinets, etc., and use LOTS of batteries. This is sturdy, has a battery checker, and it says you can hang from wall. I move mine from place to place so it sets on a shelf in the garage. Again, if you fit them down into their bays, the batteries will NOT fall out. But, you have to, then, wrestle them (or have The Hulk fingers) to get them out for use. There may be other battery organizers out there, but after reading critiques, I'm okay with this one. Sturdy, batteries stay in place, and holds a good number of different types of batteries. Good luck!

Simplifies my battery storage
No, there isn't anything sexy or smart or amazing about this product. It does its job and overall, I am pleased with the quality and overall organization it has afforded me over the many different types of packaging from various battery manufacturers. I can clearly see what my current inventory is and what is getting low. I can keep the bulk supply stored away and use them to refill this organizer when the need arises.I use it for all 5 popular sizes, AA, AAA, C, D, & 9 Volt. I do not put coin batteries in it and I have not used the tester as of yet. Being that most modern electronics us AA and AAA, I can see why there are more slots for those sizes.

Organized
Holds batteries but not tightly, so I would not hang on a wall! Does organize.

Exactly what we needed
The media could not be loaded. I like that the tester attaches to the main board. It fits perfect in this drawer and everything is perfectly organized now. I think it’s worth the money, seems to be good quality, it’s very functional. You can definitely hang it on a wall. It saves time too because you won’t have to search for the battery you need since they’re all in one place

Great battery organizer
This is a great battery organizer. Yes, as others have said, it is made of plastic - but it works great in my small drawer. It's exactly what I was looking for. No more digging. Everything is in its place, there is room for small misc. batteries, and there is even a tester. I have a non-slip drawer liner under it and the organizer stays perfectly in place when I open & close the drawer. My husband even complimented it, which is saying a lot.

It does the job
I had a hard time finding a battery organizer that I felt was worth the money, or actually worked well. I literally returned 3 different organizators, for a number of reasons. I am not crazy about this organizer either, but I could not continue to return them so I settled on this one. I do not like the battery charger. If the battery is good all three lights, green, red, yellow come on. if a battery slightly discharged, red and yellow come on, and if red comes on throw away the battery. There are not really enought slots for AAA, batteries, and to many for AA. I don't know of anything that uses 9 Volt batteries except for a smoke detector, or maybe an odd toy, or old transistor radio, yet they alloted 8 slots for the 9 Volts, I only used two. There is a little "dish" for button batteries, but if you really want to fill it up you have to open the packages they come in, otherwise you only get three or 4 in the dish. I removed the battery charger and placed flashlight blubs and unopened button batteries in its place. Since it fit in my draw with about two inches of empty space on the right side of the drawer, I was able to stack more button batteries in the same drawer, I used the extra 9 volt and AA slots for AAA batteries. I don't really think any battery organizer would satisfy my needs. For example how may 9 vold batteries do you use, that you will store 8 at a time, when you can buy them in packs of 2. Or how many C batteries do you need on hand? I have an old radio with a flashlight that uses 4 at a time, but I never have more than 4 C's at any one time. D batteries and AAA seem to be the most used batteries in my home. The D cell is used for some older flashlights, so I usually store about 6. My ideal storage container would store 6 D, 4 C, 2 9 Volt, 20 AA and 40 AAA. I have no need to store 10 C's at a time. Ironically, all the organizers allowed about the same amount of batteries and types as this one does. I actually returned on organizer that was a large case and one side was for nothing but AA, or was it AAA. Anyway this is better than nothing and I don't have to search through the drawer to find what I need. I would have posted some pictures, but sadly my camera will not contect to my computer, guess I need a new cord for it. I would not recommend this one way or another, I think this is one of those things where a person just settles for what he thinks is best for him/her. I don't care how much you spend on one, its too much for what they do.

Good product
The media could not be loaded. Seems well designed and well made. The plastic appears to be thick enough to hold up well. I use mine in a desk drawer. I just set the batteries loosely into each spot, but you can push them all the way in until they squeeze pretty securely into each spot if you want, if you were hanging it on the wall.
