So I am new to acupressure/this type of mat.. I ❤️ it from the first time.. I think the hardest part is getting on /off.. after a few days of using it I have found it best for me to position the mat /pillow where I plan on laying on it, and log roll onto it.. but to each his own.. yes it hurts but also feels like a really good back scratch.. I have I would say average pain tolerance and prefer a deep tissue type of massage so probably helps with pain part of sensation.. I tried it with tee shirt but didn't really feel anything.. in fact I recommend trying it with shirt first to see if it is too much or if you need to get the more intense experience.. but for me it feels amazing.. a combo of pain sting itch and bliss all at same time.. hard to explain but highly recommended 👌

I bought this for chronic migraines & occasional back pain. I haven’t noticed any improvement with my migraines but it has helped with my sleep & is very relaxing. You may feel discomfort when you first lay on it, but you quickly get used to it. I also know it works to release toxins. If I lay on it, with a very thin layer of clothing or skin direct on mat, like clockwork by the time my hour is up, I run to ‘Goooo’ to the bathroom. I just wish it was a full body acupressure mat. I’m on the look out for a good full body one now.

OK. This is a pretty cool tool for body aches and pains that are muscular. I get regular massages and this does tend to break the tissue down like massage, relives pain and stimulates endorphin production. It's hard for me to use for very long and some days I'm more sensitive than others, so I can only do 5 min. Not sure if there is a goal time. It can be kind of mind over matter. I am often sore the next day after using but I would say it's worth it. It helps to use after a hot salt bath- for some reason my skin is less sensitive and I can lie on it longer. Leaves obvious marks on your skin so you may not want to use prior to showing some skin. I would recommend.

Life changing! Buy it now! Worth every penny! I am a cancer remission patient who HATES taking pills. I wish I never had to take another pill again in my life. This mat is like a dream come true for me. Relives pain and stress and is so very relaxing.

i wouldn’t call this cheap but paying a bit more for this was totally worth it. The rose-shaped plastic acupressure points well distributed over a memory foam pad are prickly yes but comfortable to lie on, giving you the relief you need. The headrest i don’t use much but good to have in case you want that arched surface for extra back, neck and butt/back thigh relief. The more you use it, the more you’ll get used to the prickliness and the better you’ll feel. i also like to place my palms over them, adjusting the pressure with my bum or pressing them on the arched pillow, which feels so good and relaxing too. Thankfully, it’s don’t have to rely on this as much as i used to (it’s done it’s job) but i’m glad i have it as i can always use it when i need it. This product is well made so i think it will last a lifetime and more. If you suffer from chronic back pain and/or stiffness from stress and wish to alleviate your pain by taking better care of yourself, this product will be a blessing for you.

I purchased this to try and relieve the pain from a nagging shoulder issue, and lower back pain from sitting all day. I honestly had little hope it would actually work. Imagine my complete suprise when after my first session (10 mins) the pain was gone. Anytime I start to feel pain in my back or shoulder I do a session (10-30 mins) and I am good to go. The first few minutes might be slightly uncomfortable but after that it's actually nice. I have grown to enjoy the experience as I know the relief that come with it. Be skeptical, but open minded and you will be just as surprised as I was.

This seems like a well-made, high-quality product, and it obviously has a lot of positive feedback. I was just too sensitive to the sharpness and will be returning it.

I've had an acupressure mat before but it mistreated and ended up falling apart. I am really impressed with this brand though and LOVE having the neck pillow - that's something I was missing before. I think it helps you relax into the acupressure more quickly having the proper neck support. I always sleep better after doing this routine in the evenings.
