Superior pens for taking color notes in your bible
Superior pens for taking color notes in your bible.I have yet to find an ink pen that compares to these for taking MULTI color notes in my bible. You can find other options for black, blue, and sometimes red ink, but the fun usually stops there if you are looking for ultra precision 005 / .20mm lines. The more exotic colors are always limited to thicker nibs.I'm using these to take notes in my Oxford Ruby POCKET SIZED bible, dated 1975. None of the colors bleed through to other pages (as long as you write normally). The plethora of color options permits me to save note space by color coding everything for fast, wordless visual recognition. And the precise tips allow me to actually WRITE at that minuscule size.I've been using these Sakura pens for 5 years now, and highly recommend them for taking notes in your bible. If you have a small bible, these are great. If you have a huge bible with lots of writing space, get a thicker tipped pen that you can write quicker with. These tips do require that you TAKE CARE OF THEM and write slowly, carefully, deliberately. Just a bit of light pressure is all it takes.A FINAL NOTE: For writing in black, I recently have found an even finer writing pen, Uchida of America 4100-C-.03 Carded Le Pen Technical Drawing Pen, .03 Point, Black , the lines are even finer and more precise than the Sakura. Only in black however. I use both in my bible, The Uchida for black, and the Sakuras for color.

I always buy these
I am currently a medical student, and I use these pens every single day, sometimes upwards of 12 hours a day writing notes from lecture, underlining in books, or annotating. They last forever, and never dry out. I showed them to my class mates, and now the whole school walks around with them (literally, they are the very best. no smudging. no drying out. the tips are so fine and the quality is amazing). About every 6 months I order a new set, (but do the math... 10 hours a day average for every day for 6 months....these things last) When I had them in college a pack would last me a year. However, I just ordered another set, and was mistakenly sent a box of all black. This is the first time this has happened, but I don't have time to leave campus to go return the ones that were incorrectly sent to me. The only reason I am giving this a one star is because I am really hoping the seller (or amazon?) will correct their mistake so I don't have to go through the hassle of sending back the ones that were incorrectly sent to me. I usually order the assorted colors fine tip .2 mm. You should too. You won't regret it. Time to see if their costumer service is as good as their product...Edit. Excellent costumer service. Got the right pens sent to me and the work as perfectly as ever. Thank you.

They really are good for Bibles
I've had many pens for my Bible. I used to like the Papermate X-Fine points, but I can't find them any more. I tried several others, but despite being advertised as "fine point," I found them thick and clunky. These pens, however, are the best I've tried. They seem to be ball-points, but the tips are so small I can't actually tell. In any case, they really do not bleed through the thin pages of my Bible (but if you press hard, you can still see it from the other side). Whether they last a long time or not, only time will tell.

Great for the artists
Its a great help in getting those small details. It adds a pop of color as well.

Need to write tiny and these are perfect!
I got these pens for writing in a small 3.5 x 5.5 Moleskine daily tracker notebook and they're perfect for what I need! I've used this brand of technical pen in all sizes and absolutely love the 005 .2mm pen. The colors are vibrant and distinct--although, I don't ever use red next to brown. The ink doesn't bleed through the--somewhat thin--Moleskine pages and I'm able to write very small in all caps, two lines per row.I think it's important to mention maintenance and how to use the pens. I store the pens--as instructed from the manufacturer--horizontally in a pen pouch or on a desk and when writing, the pens are almost completely vertical. I use other pens--Pilot Precise V5 or Pilot G2 .38mm--where the pen is slanted and I write in cursive or journal style. I think these Micron pens could be used for cursive journal style writing but for me I like to use a concise pen for concise thinking and a more broad flowy pen to bring flow to my thoughts.

Great pens
What can you say. I use these all the time and they work great. Just wish there were a refillable version of these. They dry up pretty quick so don't bulk buy.I am using these to mark my Bible and they don't bleed thru. The colors are rather dark. Brown is a red brown shade. Purple is almost black.

Umm..
Of the six pens received, two hardly wrote and the others don’t act as if they will last a week of daily writing. Sad.

Nice fine tipped pens
Love the thickness. Writes quite smoothly. Only thing I didn’t like was the colour of the blue pen. Otherwise I will but again. They seem a little expensive too but the quality is good.

excelente calidad y buen precio

Review of Sakura pigma micron pens.
I would highly recommend these pens. I am using them to write in a study bible and there is very little 'bleed through.' They are very smooth and light to write with, and although so far I have only used the blue colour, the other colours look gorgeous. I can't comment on using them for artwork but for writing on thin paper such as bibles I don't think they could be bettered. Just a reminder to people that although they are disposable as far as I'm aware they are very long life. Also, for what they are, the price is excellent so I have no problem with just replacing them when they eventually run out. A 5 star top quality product.
