Skechers Women's Summits Quick Getaway Slip-On Sneaker

This is my second time buying these shoes. Love them! I wear them almost every day for work and they have held up well. I like how much cushion they have, especially since I’ve had issues with heel pain. These support my arch and feel like they mold to my feet. I also love that I can slip in and out of them. It makes it so easy to run out the door. The choices in color are great. These are true to size.

Extremely comfortable and look is nice. I purchased for an upcoming Disney trip and these will be perfect for walking at the parks. I highly recommend for the price. I typically take a 7.5 in sneakers and the 7.5 fit perfectly.

I'd like to love these shoes and give them 5 stars. The color is perfect. I love the aqua but in a hushed tone that can be worn with lots of outfits and not look weird. They grip wood and tile floors well. The shoes have thick cushioning and feel like a hug on my feet. They appear to be well made and I expect they will last a long time. However, I should be clear that I don't walk around outdoors much due to nerve injury and balance issues. I wear shoes in the house all the time because of nerve pain.Why only 4 stars?A. I ordered wide because of foot pain issues and they don't feel wide at all. I can't even imaging what regular would feel like even though I have narrow feet and rarely order wide shoes. I just had a feeling about these and ordered wide this time. They're snug, but not painfully uncomfortable, and I think with time they'll stretch a bit (I hope).B. I have a drop foot and thought these would be easy to put on since there are no actual laces, just elastic lacing for show. These shoes are hard for me to put on the right side because I have a drop foot from the nerve injury. I also have painful arthritis in my hands and they're not very strong because of that. I recommend using a shoehorn if you have issues. I wish I'd gotten the style my husband did that have a wide protruding "lip" at the heel so you can slide into them. I was trying to save a few dollars. Spend the extra few bucks if you can.

Running on these shoes is a highly underrated feature. Compared to most of the other tennis/running shoes I have worn, these things feel like you are running on air. The arch support is incredible; you can practically bend your foot the other way. In addition to all of this, they are also extremely easy to put on, making it easier to get out of the house and start running. The only thing I would critique the water tolerance. When going for a jog I accidentally spilled half of my water bottle on my shoe and my feet were soaked for a while. Apart from that these shoes are great, and I highly recommend them to anybody really.(It's also worth noting that the traction is OK. It's good enough to where I would (and do) run on a wet street/sidewalk but would walk extremely slow when seeing a "wet floor" sign).

First of all, I love Sketchers. My favorite sneakers of all time, were this brand. But they aren't made anymore. These looked close in design, but fall short of perfect. I am 70 years old and I have worn a lot of shoes in my time! I know a good shoe when I try it on. These are the issues I discovered with this particular Sketcher sneaker; Traction is good. Fabric is good. So here comes the critique; This shoe does not have a supportive structure for an arch. So I purchased a good Dr. Scholls insert. Problem; The memory foam pad in the sneaker cannot be removed. When I put the supportive insert in the shoe it changed the fit and the shoe was so tight it was uncomfortable. Also, the tab on the back is useless for trying to pull on the shoe because I can't grip it and I can't get my finger into the loop (its to small!). I have small fingers! If you have a narrow foot these may not fit because they are roomy and the elastic laces cannot be adjusted. The tongue is sewn into the shoe area and you can't change the look of the shoe as it is in the photo with a high profile. I do like the colors and the shoe is very lightweight and easy to wear (you need a good shoehorn to make it easy to put on) as a basic shoe. I wish I could give it 5 stars but with the problems I've mentioned I can't get beyond 3.
