The media could not be loaded.  I assumed these were going to be really cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. The candles themselves appear to be made of actual wax and they handle like real candles. The candle is a hollow cylinder with a metal tube insert with the "flame" at the top. You open the metal tube, insert the batteries and screw it shut again. Slide the metal tube into the wax cylinder and you're good to go. You push down on the cylinder to activate the switch at the bottom to turn it on/off. Really neat and simple design.They have a steady on and flickering candle modes. They don't flicker quite as much as I would like, but the effect is quite nice as you can see in the video. They seem pretty durable and well made, would definitely buy again.

Super easy to use and work. I love that the candles come out of their sheath for batteries replacement, and that you press down on them to turn them ON or OFF: the remote does this feature as well, but pressing them ON allows the remote to function with them then for if they'reout of reach like hanging on the ceiling. Now, I don't like these cuz I needed to add a ring of hot wax to make a lip for the string to catch on and allow it to hang from the ceiling, unless you make a sheath for it to sit in. Otherwise LOVE THESE!

Great decor. Loved that I could control with a remote, however it was a bit frustrating at times control all the candles at once Since it would turn some on or some off or had to have the remote directly next to the specific candle to make it do what I wanted it to do..wish it had a phone app control, that would be amazing since can’t control it if I loose the control. Overall look & quality surpasses my expectations...it’s made of wax so it looks & feels like a real candle. Loved the modes. Overall, it’s a Great purchase and would recommend.

While recording a Sunday sermon in my home one of my cats jumped onto the mantle and burned his tail on one of the candles burning there. (He only burned some hair - not injured at all.). I decided that getting flameless candles would be a great idea and ordered these. They look quite real in the videos especially on the flickering setting. It is easy to put the batteries in. The remote control makes lighting them convenient. And no more burning cat tails.On the down side, I did not realize that I needed to be very careful inserting them into a candle holder and broke the bottom of the first one by pushing too hard to make it stand up straight and stay put. I only needed four so that wasn’t a big deal for me, but I did want to mention it.

I’m very happy with these candles. They are in every window of my home and while they’re not the brightest on my street, they are lovely. They automatically come on at the same time each day for 8 hours (4 is the other option.) I love the real wax, warm light color, and that I can use any candleholder or none. I originally bought 30 candles and 2 of them didn’t work so I contacted the company and they sent replacements without any hassle. I keep thinking of more places to put these candles!

They are easy to use with the remote, and good looking. My only comment is I wish the flame flickered more.

I was looking for Gold candles with a remote control for my table decorations. I was very pleased with the taper gold candles and how easy the remote control was. The candles added a beautiful look to my table and were so easy to use with the remote. They gave the same look as real candles. Highly recommend.

These do not fit well in a standard candle holder. 3 of 6 so far have fallen and broken.
