Great look for a great price!
We live in an older home, and our fixtures have been missing cover plates for years. We just lived with it because I thought it would require disconnecting the pipes at the wall to get a cover plate on there. WRONG! These chrome painted plastic covers provide a perfect solution. They look just like a chrome metal plate, you would never suspect they were plastic. EASY TO INSTALL! There is a line marked on the back of the cover to show where to make the "split" that allows you to easily bend and install the cover. I carefully used a utility knife to make the split needed. Do not be aggressive when installing, after all they are plastic--but you can easily install the cover by bending it around the pipe. Position the "split" underneath the pipe, and the split is virtually invisible. Our fixtures look so much better now!

Easy installation & looks great
Very easy to install. Use a utility knife to split it (easily done since it’s pre-scored), then fit around your pipe. Covers the hole nicely. Tip: ensure you have enough clearance between the wall & any nuts / fittings since you have to “wedge” this into the space between. If in doubt, buy the larger diameter.

Nice
These are nice. They snap in half and go right around the pipe. We remodeled our bathroom and needed to replace these without removing the compression fittings, so these were perfect for the job. I later found them for half the price at the hardware store, so you might be able to get them cheaper if you’re willing to shop around

Look good and fit 1/2” copper pipe
They can be put on even if the pipe has cutoff valves installed. There is a marked line and you can cut them with a razor blade if you have to put them on an installed pipe. You can also remove them easily for painting!

Clever Product
Measure pipe diameter (and I mean actually measure) before ordering. Different kinds of pipe with the same inside diameter can have very different outside diameters (guess how I know that). I ordered the 1/2 inch; it quickly became clear that I needed the 3/4 inch (at least). Had to return what I ordered. Looks good, but as other reviews noted, the finish is delicate. I was able to snap the scored line easily, the flange bends easily, and will come back into shape (if it fits the pipe, that is). The finish, however, will scratch right off unless you protect it during installation. Some tape on either side of the split should do the trick; peel it off once in place.

Follow instructions
These are flexible plastic with chrome coating. You need to make a cut along the groove (sharp scissors work well) first, and then twist gently to install around pipe. If you do this carefully, the end result looks great and will not have the problem of corrosion like chrome plated metal ones. They are inexpensive and easy once you understand the principle of how to install them.
