It looks good, it seems to be durable however, I wanted to keep it or rather leave it installed in my new GEN-Y 2" hitch, for storage purposes, but....it will not fit in it due to it's square shape but, It does fit perfectly my truck's stock hitch receiver without any problem so, if you have the same idea I had to keep it mounted in your GEN-Y 2" hitch....ain't gonna fly.Good luck.

It’s good and will do the job but there is some play where the shackle meets the fitting.

I’m pleased with the fit and finish on this hitch mounted shackle. It is mounted on the front receiver I installed on my 2021 Honda Pioneer 1000. One thing that could be improved would be the addition of a hitch pin with this part.

I like it in that it doesn't stick out nearly as far as a ball hitch so I can just leave it attached to my truck. I do pull the shackle off and put it inside so it doesn't fall off or grow legs though!Mine arrived with about a 3/16" round bit of powder coat that flaked off from getting bumped somewhere. It ships in a small double wall box just big enough for this to fit and is fairly secure so not sure really how the powder coat was damaged.I picked up a qiqu 7/8 kinetic recovery rope that came with two soft shackles and I picked up two extra and I ended up using both yesterday. Drove up a snowy dirt road up into the mountains and a little 90's era honda slid off the road. Pulled out the shackle and soft shackle and recovery rope and it was barely noticeable when pulling this guy uphill out of the ditch. Obviously this thing is rated much higher than the 2,500# car but so far so good for all the equipment. The soft shackle let me attach to the guys tie down (what holds the car on the trip over from Japan, not really a tow point but it works usually) and connect the loop in the rope very easily.

I received this item on March 5th, and put it in the receiver hitch of my '99 Jeep TJ. just a few days later I used it to "dead man" my Jeep to a tree in order to recover another Jeep that was stuck with my winch. Everything worked perfectly!
