These inks have an amazing shelf life of up to 12 months if stored correctly. Can be used with any brand of edible paper / ink Black: water, humectant (E422), propylene glycol (E490), preservative (E202), food colors (E122-carmoisine, E133, E102-tartrazine), acidity regulator(E330). Yellow: water, humectant (E422), propylene glycol E490), preservative (E202)  food color: E102 (tartrazine), acidity regulator(E330). Magenta: water, humectant (E422), propylene glycol (E490), preservative (E202), food colours (E122-carmoisine, E124-ponceau), acidity regulator(E330). Cyan: water, humectant (E422), propylene glycol (E490), preservative (E202), food colors (E133, E124, E102- tartrazine), acidity regulator(E330) Using non OEM non edible inks in your printer will most likely void any manufacturer's warranty you have. Example: Cannon printer using compatible or edible inks will void the warranty with CANNON. only Cannon inks in a cannon printer will keep the warranty.
