Ultra Monster 500 series 70: KING JOE CUSTOM

Cool vinyl figure of King Joe from Ultraman, really cheap price too! Good details, clean paintwork, pose-able arms, about 5" tall. This one has a gun arm, as opposed to the "original" King Joe which had two normal arms. Comes loose with one of those classic cardboard tags like all Japanese Kaiju vinyl.

My son loves this toy it’s the same size as his Godzilla toys and Ultraman toys. It’s an official license product from bandi and comes with a nice collectors tag, although my son removed that Immediately. We are very happy with this toy

King Joe was purchased as a gift for my son. He is obsessed with Ultraman and Godzilla. The toy is a great size and very well made for the price.

King Joe is cool... King Joe with a big gun is cooler. Standard spark doll articulation. Great detail.. Paint apps are limited and mostly on the chest control panel.

Smaller than I thought but looks exactly as pictured. Added to the never ending monsters Godzilla and all sorts for a monster mad kid. They think it's brill.

3歳の息子にクリスマスの季節柄プレゼントは何が良いかと聞いたところ、キングジョーと即返答がありました。最近ウルトラマンzにはまっており、関連してウルトラマン7などももれなく見ている事から、メカメカしいこのキングジョーが気に入ったようです。そして何より、このキングジョーは息子曰く「バキュン」がついているようで、これじゃないとダメだそうです。今ウルトラマンzではストレイジカスタムもあってそっちに誘導してみましたが、このなんともいえないメカメカしい色が良いようです。ちなみに、こちらのカスタムは近所のおもちゃ屋では販売していませんでした。ネットでなら手に入るようですが、「おもちゃ屋に行って見つけて手に取ってから買ってもらえるドキドキ感」これが実は子ども心には大切なようにも思えました。。。中国武漢を発祥とするコロナの影響で実店舗は難しいのかもしれません。届いた商品を少しだけ触ってみましたが、自分が子どもだった時のあの感触がいまでもあり、そして何より安心できるソフビは子どものパワフルな遊び方にもってこいな気がします。価格も手ごろですし子どもへのプレゼントとしてとてもおすすめできます。
