Pair (2X) - .022 uf/400 v Orange Drop Capacitors

Very nice tone

Installed in my 2008 Les Paul Standard, they work exactly as they should. They’re a little big so if you don’t have the cavity space you may want to get the 200v as they seem smaller

Replaced the .047 200v caps, which seemed to dark ( even with pots on full), with these. Brought back the perfect amount on sparkle. Highly recommended. 👍

Good stuff, never really understood why capacitors, specifically orange sprague caps were so much more costly than other brands or unnamed ones. They're good quality, but paying that much for 2 is kind of strange. Could get a pack for less, but these are the orange sprague caps, they're good at what they do, sometimes overkill for things I want to do. Just know if you're installing these in a guitar, make sure you have enough space, because these are pretty huge, they're about as wide as a CTS pot. Cheapest ones I could find on the market too, so win win I guess.

Have been through many variations of pickup and capacitors combos in my stratocaster. I have the Fender Hot noiseless neck, vintage noiseless middle, and Dimarzio Tonezone s bridge. I was running Mallory 150 .047uf tone caps before and found the guitar to be slightly dark, or a bit too warm. Changing to the orange drop style .022uf caps brought back that sparkle in the single coils and more clarity to the bridge. Now it truly sounds like a strat.

They are too big for my application.
