Terribly out of square. Not even good for woodworking. Shouldn't be so out of square for the price. Don't buy this square.

does the job
I'm sure there are better quality out there but for the price, this one does the job well.

Excellent Product well made and finished beats anything available in Australia for a comparable price. Recommend for all my woodworking students. A Must for serious boxmakers.CheersSteve

L 7 Pie R not square just like the tool I received.
I received the tool: rose handle, blue steel, very pretty and it receives 5 stars for looks. It felt very nice, I used it a few times and...things were not measuring up. I checked with a few squares and realized it was acute tool but not right... angled. I will buy another but look for one with measurement markings and a bit warmer(about 90 degrees to be exact). I will get the return and refund squared away.

nice for the price
certainly a nice enough tool for the price, I'm a little unimpressed with the overall quality. At first blush it would seem well made, but on closer inspection, one sees the devil in the details. The rosewood and brass splay out slightly at the tail end of the blade so one can see daylight. Hmm. This makes me wonder how genuinely square and accurate this square actually is. I'm sure it's close enough for rock-n-roll, but would love to know it was spot on. Also, the butt-end is slightly rounded which again, makes me wonder about accuracy. As in my review of their scratch awl, this has an over-heavy poly clear coat that makes an ostensibly heirloom-ish tool stray into the realm of cheesy. I suppose they could be stripped, but is it worth the effort? Probably not.

Three Stars
The rose wood has pressure dents in done during manufacture. The overlaying finish is intact.
