Like it.
Easy to mount, but the power wire could be longer. The jaw is wide enough but the groves where the phone sits isn't deep enough with the phone case on my phone.

Could be a much easier install on the handle bars if...............Design flaw
What should have taken me 2 minutes to install the ball on my handle bars took 30 minutes! The solution is have the top of the allen screws on top where I can see them and there is more room. You need to switch the ball to the top piece as well. So simply put, the threads of the allen screws should be facing downward. See the first pic. Put ball on the flat side! Also,if an allen screw happens to come loose it will not fall to the ground while you are riding!Look at pics and see how little room I have to work and I can't see what I am doing making it difficult to get the allen wrench on the allen screws. This simple illogical design flaw could be the difference between me keeping or returning the unit.

All in one solution
I have limited space on a Cafe Racer and this was perfect, the USB is built into the mount which came with various options to secure it to the handlebars. My bike has clip ons so there are no handlebars I used the added mirror ball mount and it works perfectly.

Awesome!
Believe me or not, I bought this motorcycle phone mount to use it attached to my Vacuum/CRB/Carpet Wand to record a carpet cleaning service for a contractor.I thought about buying a GoPro for that, but as I have a good iPhone with me, I thought it would be a waste of money buying a new camera and attachments for this specific purpose. I’m still have no idea how to use the cables attached to the phone mount but the mount worked GREAT on my tools. Probably the seller have no ideia that this product fits pretty well for carpet cleaning videos LOL.Easy to Instal: 5 stars, and to me it would be 2-3 stars because I had to attach it on 3 different tools during the day but I totally understand this is a phone mount that you just install and keep it attached to your motorcycle without removing it all the timeSturdiness: 5 stars, this mount just do what’s promised.Stability: 5 stars!I’ve cleaned a 4,000 sqft of carpet, divided into 3 levels and 6 big flight of stairs. And the videos are perfect!I’m not sure when I will use it again but now that I have a phone mount, I’m thinking about using it more often for marketing purposes. That’s a great phone mount!

Read THIS before stripping your screws
This phone mount came highly recommended by other members I ride with. Worth every penny. The attached leads for the integrated USB port, make for extremely simple plug and play for whatever device is cradled in the mount. **TIP** if you have thicker handlebars like mine, or have unfortunately stripped out the bolts provided, run down to Home Depot and grab a pair of M5-0.8 x 40mm socket cap Allen head bolts. They thread perfectly with the pitch the mount has, and have plenty of lag and excess thread for adjustability.***UPDATE: If you need any convincing to purchase this mount, mine survived a wreck and my phone was still firmly secured in place. I transferred it to another bike and wired up the on board USB port and still works just fine. I’ll never buy another mount again.

Not bad.
This is not bad if your phone is not in a case. It grips the phone very well and does not come loose. I had a few times where it tighted up on me riding and had to use a wrench to loosen the clamping screw. Did not have to use the rubber band corner hold downs. I did not wire in the usb charging port I had one on my bike. But I would safely assume that it works well.

Fantastic motorcycle phone mount
I installed this on my '07 V-Star 1300 in about 90 seconds flat and went for a few test rides. The double ball joint allows for super easy positioning while mounted to the handlebars, and tightening the hand screw holds the phone exactly where I want it. I've had multiple plastic mounts that all perform adequately, but this one is far and above the best I've ever had. I was initially worried that the phone would vibrate or swing around since the mount is so long, but it acts like it's welded to the handlebars. As other people have mentioned, the mount will NOT work if you have a thick case like a LifeProof, but my Galaxy S8+ with a thin silicon case fits like a glove. The phone is rock-freaking-solid when you tighten the screw and slides in/out with ease. All in all, I cannot recommend this case highly enough for any motorcycle riders out there, provided your phone is low-profile enough to fit. I haven't hooked up the charging function to test that yet, but even if it's total crap I'd still be thrilled with the case.

will NOT work with any type of protective phone case
Only giving 2 stars. Its all metal and pretty solid, other than that its not worth buying. A few issues, #1 and by far the biggest issue IT WILL NOT WORK IF YOUR PHONE IA IN A CASE OF ANY SORT. #2 the screws that mount it to the bars are on the bottom of the mounting bracket so depending on the bike set up you can't tighten it all the way. #3 the ball that attaches the mount to the mounting bracket only tightens at 1 spot for both sides of the mount. 2 balls 1 place to tighten both. Not very user friendly there.. #4 the actual mount that hols the phone tightens down and leaves the " clamp" directly on the corners of the phone so if its tightened just a hair too much it WILL break your phone screen.. i honestly can't say I would recommend this mount nor would I buy it again. The fact that it will not work with any type of phone case deletes the entire purpose of it. If you have your phone in a protective case to walk around at the grocery store you absolutely are going to want it in a case if its on your motorcycle.. think about the damage a large bug or rock kicked up from a vehicle would do to your phone at 55mph.. if it worked with a protective case I would say buy it, but as it won't i say keep on looking for something that will

Exceptional!
In a world of expensive plastic holders, this thing stands out. It was advertised as being made of aluminum but I suspected it was going to be plastic with a metal spring or something. But, it's all metal! You don't have to depend on a spring to hold your phone, you tighten down the metal arms with a metal thumb screw and your phone ain't going nowhere! A USB charging port right there that gets hardwired to your battery, with a rubber rain seal too. The only downside is that my phone won't fit with even the slimmest of protectors on. I wish they had made the clamps on the arms just a little bigger to accommodate a modest phone protector or, better yet, interchangeable clamps that would fit a phone with a weather proof cover (it is for a motorcycle after all) but for the price... Holy CRAP this thing is well made! The mounting clamp is big enough for the largest of handle bars. In fact, I'll make a bushing to get a better clamp on my bar which is actually a bit too small for this thing to get a decent grip on. And what's more, if you can't find that perfect spot on your bars, it comes with a mirror mount as well. And, when you tighten the ball clamp, which is big enough that you can do it with gloves on and plenty strong for the job it does, it's clamped! Find your angles, clamp it down and forget it. Longevity is hard to guess but I mean it's all solid aluminum so it won't rust or weaken with sun damage, ever! You really can't go wrong!

Sturdy materials but... doesn't fit phone with a thin case and ....charging does not work
Good: Sturdy metal phone holder which can fit up to IPhone Plus and has vibration-proof metal screw tensioner to actually hold the phone from shaking loose.Good: includes sturdy cast metal handlebar bracket and side-mirror adaptor bracket - simple to install on Bicycle or Harley handlebars.Good: Twin-ball allows huge flexibility to orient the phone holder in any position.Bad: Bracket fits snugly around iPhone but when using even a very thin case, the phone is too thick to fit cleanly into the Bracket. It still works but the bracket is clamping only the sides of the case rather than clamp+overlap over the front.Bad: The wireless charging system did not work for my new iPhone 12 with or without a case. Disappointing, as this was a key factor in buying this bracket.

Unable to install cell phone with case.

Just what I ordered.
The cradle opens wide enough to take a Samsung S9 with protective casing and the screw on the cradle makes sure the phone is not shaken out.
