Jaws 3-Movie Collection [DVD]

This set includes Jaws 2, 3, 4.I'm one of the few people who bought this set specifically for Jaws 3D & Jaws Revenge (4)I also purchased Jaws 1 & 2 on 4K UHD#2. Great#3. Different#4. Still worth watching with Lorraine Gary & Michael Caine#3 & #4 do not get a lot of love when it came to these transfers.These are old transfers that might never get updated, but could really use it.Both 3 & 4 look rough compared to #2 which as a new transfer.#3 suffers from color misalignment (RGB) on the right side of the screen. This might very well be a result of poorly converting the 3D movie to 2D. See the attached photos which are pulled directly from the disc.You should already know JAWS 3 was/is "JAWS 3D"Here's the good news for 3D fans. Yes! You get the 3D version included on the Jaws 3 Disc.I also need to caution you: The Jaws 3D disc has some weird encoding so it may not like your 4K player.It should play perfectly on your standard Bluray player. It does not like my Panasonic DP-UB820 . This is the 1st disc I have had trouble on this player. In my case, the menu screen comes up with no menu options, just a big picture. I hit enter and it played, but then the disc stuttered & froze 11 minutes in. I put the disc in my old Panasonic Bluray player and it ran perfectly, menus are all good, disc plays properly.So moving on: Put the Jaws 3 disc in and you will see in the menu: 3D as an option.A cool feature is you can switch back and forth on the fly from 2D & 3D.The 3D version is the best option as the color alignment issues are fixed in the 3D version.The image looks sharper and cleaner. The downside is the old 3D directing was not that great and too much "in your face" gimmickry. Still: JAW 3D was intended to be watched in 3D and its the best way to watch this disc if you are able.All in All, this is a great buy with 3 fun movies for JAWS or Shark fans.

Great to have in 4k just better quality brighter pictures

was a gift for my partner who loves anythng sharks especially jaws i personally dont care for 4 but he loves them all & thats what matters it came sooner then expected packaged with care and not overly expensive worth it for any shark fan

Films are bad, but in a good way

Just received blu-ray movies. When I opened package, one of the brackets that holds disks in place was broke. Disks were sliding around in shipping. The broken piece was still in case. Not happy with that, but everything else looked ok. I will report if I have any other problems playing disks later.

Great deal and arrived in great condition

This is a great set at a great price! I’m a fan of multipacks that save space. This has 3 blu rays in a small case the same size as a regular blu ray. Jaws 2 has all the special features that were on the DVD. And best of all, Jaws 3 includes the 3D version of the movie!You have to have a 3D TV and a 3D blu ray player, but it works and looks really awesome! It’s not immediately apparent where to select this when you put the blu ray in. You have to choose “Extras” and you will find the 3D option there.Great set! I just wish it included the original Jaws too instead of selling it separately for a cash grab, but whatever.

This is a great collection for all fans of Jaws sequels. It doesn't include the original Jaws (1975) but it includes all of the sequels, Jaws II, Jaws 3 and Jaws 4 (The Revenge). Of course, none of the movies can compete with the original Jaws in terms of story and suspense but they are fun to watch. Jaws II is a pretty decent sequel in my opinion. Another great white shark terrorizes the residents of Amtyville. Visual effects are great just like in the first movie and storyline is decent. Jaws 3 is different from the first two movies; it takes place at a Sea World Entertainment Park with all new characters. In the special features, there is a 3D version of the movie! I can't wait to watch it on my 3D TV which has been packed away (hope to set it up again one day). Makes you feel sad that they don't make 3D TVs anymore. I think they were great and nothing comes to close to watching a 3D movie experience. Jaws Revenge is the weakest link in the collection. It's story is just not that good and some final scenes are regurgitation from the original movie. It feels like they're milking the franchise.Blu-ray transfers are pretty decent except maybe for the Jaws 3 - some scenes are terribly grainy (almost like watching a bad VHS tape), and some other scenes have no blu-ray clarity. There are very few scenes where the picture looks clear/clean. Other than that, it's a pretty decent collection.
