These are VERY powerful lights (I have the 30W set) and I am very pleased with them. They do emit a reasonable amount of visible light (a light-purple glow), but the results are spectacular. In years past, I needed about 6-10 small bulbs in individual lamps to light up my outdoor Halloween graveyard display. This year I was able to use just two of these and one small "filler" light (only needed because I had some tombstones blocking an object I really wanted illuminated). The entire display was a hit with the neighborhood. Now to specifics: I kept the lights outdoors and had to kind of jury rig some ground spikes to place them on the lawn. They have a very solid range of at least 20-feet each (that is to say, things within 20 feet were at maximum brightness – objects farther away were still lit up, just not as bright). Anything that is bright white, florescent or neon colored will glow beautifully under these black lights.Now, these were outdoors in Houston, Texas during October through December (I have multiple displays for the holidays). Most of them held up perfectly through weather that ranged in temperature from 95°F days to 35°F nights , and additionally we had a lot of rain (off and on) for several weeks. The majority of the four lights I had out (I have two displays, one on each side of the yard) held up perfectly. One of the units, however, did fail after about 4-6 weeks (can't recall the exact date). I reached out to Faishilan and they were quick to respond via email. Even though only one unit failed, they sent me 2-pack as a replacement. THEIR SERVICE IS TOP-NOTCH.Short summary: These are strong black lights suitable for professional use outdoors. They are backed by a company that is responsive and very supportive. When I need more black lights (and I will), I will be buying them from Faishilan (and you should, too).

I purchased this to light up a white sign my neighbor made me for my Christmas Lights. She noticed I didn't have a sign and she so sweetly wanted to give me a sign for the lights. We decided it needed black lights because we didn't want bright white lights to cover up the show. This worked perfectly and did very well in the rain. I would recommend this. I will use these for Halloween this coming year too.

I use these for black light paint parties and they are very high quality! These are the only black lights I will use. The only down side (to most quality black lights) is there do slightly warm up the area they are used in by a couple degrees over several hours of use. Otherwise, this is a great product!

FAISHILAN 2 Pack 50W UV Led Black LightGood quality for the price. Fairly cheaply manufactured in the details but overall they seem to work well.Overall they look like they are solid construction and well sealed.The glass looks well sealed.They are bright.They get warm but not hot (this is in a 75 degree house).The down side is the light is more blue spectrum than UV. The pictures show they are very bright but even at a distance they wash out the colors more than an old UV bulb. The old bulb will enhance the color (the pink glows more vibrantly with the old bulbs). I also tested this on a florescent orange sports shirt, it did shine brighter but but again was lighter and more washed out.The cord is fairly cheap and is short (the description states 59"). I also purchased some of their 100W white units and the on/off switches did not completely turn the unit off so that may be a concern here as well but they are not bright enough to really be able to tell so I don't think it is. The P3 kill a watt I have does not sense a power draw that low.They do not come with allen wrenches like some brands do.

The media could not be loaded. So I know this is an old purchase but it's only been used once a year for two weeks during Halloween well I found out they aren't waterproof as advertised. They definitely are a black light and work as intended to bring out colors but if your going to use it outdoor use caution.

Great device that produces a lot of UV light. Two for my 30x30 outdoor dance floor (ok, the basketball court) worked like a charm - the kids loved them. They do get quite hot so be aware. They are also surprisingly heavy. Recommended!

I wish that I could have purchased a kit of three lights! This set of two lit up my large classroom pretty good! If I just had one more, it would be perfect. I am so glad that I trusted the reviews that these are very bright and will cover a large space.

Well worth the money. We used one light in the house and one in the attached garage and although the open space in the house was pretty large, it lit the area really well. Definitely recommend.
