This piece was missing. I used it on a 92 jeep yj. Those jeeps use GM saginaw steering columns and it was what I needed to get horn working again.

Worked perfectly for my 2000 gmc k3500 the plastic tab was a little weak but it works

Looks great quality, haven't installed it yet

I don't even know how a person could lose one, but when they do, this one works.

Like so many others have said, the tabs are practically mush, and the spring is way too strong for the plastic tabs. I was in the process of filling out my request to return the item, when I decided to take another course of action. As far as I know, Dorman is our only option for these vintage trucks. The quality sucks, but it is what it is. Since the tab broke off the sleeve on my first attempt to install the horn wire on my 1989 Chevy truck, here is what I did: First, I cut the spring in half and discarded one of the halves. Then I cut the wire in half, flipped the sleeve 180 and reinstalled it on the wire against the spring. Then I spliced the 2 halves of the wire back together. With the spring length and subsequent tension cut in half, the plastic tab held and the horn worked perfectly. If you take this route, you might want to add a drop of super glue to the tab area. So far so good. Hope this helps someone.

tuve que hacer un par de adecuaciones pero funciono muy bien, al parecer el resorte es mas grande que la pieza que sostiene el cable en su lugar y se puede safar, solo es cuestion de apretar un poco el resorte para que no se salga de su lugar el cable
