When I reviewed these wheels from multiple sources, a lot of reviews said the hubs were too long for the axles by a couple of mm. The fix was to use the hubs from the wheels that are coming off. I was a bit miffed about that as the new hubs are all shiny and have new bearings, but, it was what I was going to have to do. So I took the hubs off and then discovered why they don't fit. The new wheels bearing races are not pressed into the hub far enough. It's an easy fix, provided you have the tools which are a socket set, a spanner, and a vice. You take the four nuts and bolts off, get the hub that has the bearing in it, and squeeze it in a vice (metal to metal) until the races are flush with the hub. Then it fits like a glove.

If you have a Clarke 3-in-1 sack truck, as sold by MachineMart, you will need to take the yellow tyres off these wheels and but them on your red wheels. The 3-in-1 truck has larger diameter axles than the basic sack trucks, and even the yellow solid wheels sold by MachineMart (the Clarke wheels at £17.99 each!) are identical to these items and would require you to change the tyres. I suspected this would be the case and to confirm I went to Machine Mart and they had a 3-in-1 truck with red wheels and yellow tyres. It's easy to swap the tyres (just undo the 4 nut/bolts on both sets of wheels and swap tyres), and takes 15mins top. No point spending any more as these yellow foam-filled tyres seem all the same.

I had the top part of a garden tipper trolley left after the wheels burst and shredded over the last year with all the weight it carried. I bought these rather than pay over £60 for a new trolley. It took me less than 10 mins to fit all 4 wheels and I am woman with no experience of fitting these. These are rock solid and I will never need to worry about tyres again. I can even live with the bight yellow, even though it clashes horribly with the green chassis.

This is my second order of these wheels from this supplier. The items and the service have been impeccable. I am very pleased. No more flat tyres and having to pump them up before use. When you need your sack barrow or garden trolley, you don't want to be pumping tyres up. Buy these wheels and lose that problem. Highly recommended. I will be needing two more for my back up sack barrow shortly

The pump-up tyres on my sack truck were beyond repair. Sack trucks aren't expensive and I could have bought a new one for not much more than the cost of these solid wheels, but instead decided to 'reduce, reuse, recycle'. These wonderful solid wheels give the impression that they'll last a lifetime. I expect I'll transfer them over to my next sack truck when this one rusts through, and maybe on to the one after that!

Must have been shipped under something extremely heavy since the tyres were indented in a couple of places. However this does not affect their use. Unlike the first pair that I bought, the second pair I dismantled and used the old hub since the length obviated properly securing the bolts. Not a big issue and this may be more to do with the quality of the trolley that I fitted them to.

After wasting a lot of time mending punctures and a lot of money buying replacement wheels, I decided to buy these bad boys and they have been a god send. My only criticism is they only come in yellow, but I have now learned to live with them!
