very nicely detailed model
I have a collection of 3 Chevy 1/6 scale motors on display in my lounge. This one, a Corvette 327 FI engine, and a '67 350 Camaro engine. Of the 3, the 350 is the least accurate... in '67, the then-new 350 was available only in the new Camaro. That was my first new car. The valve covers on the model are obviously after-market ones, and it's obviously a California engine, based on the smog equipment. Also it has a spin-on oil filter, which wasn't available until '68. But all in all, all 3 are very nice models.I wish Liberty Classics would come out with a '56 225 HP 265 cu. in. model motor, or one of the dual-quad 283s. Also a dual-quad '62 - '64 409 would be great. Obviously, I'm a Chevy guy.But I'd also love to see a 1/6 model nail-head Buick, like the dual-quad 425 of the mid-60s.

Not Very Good
I bought this as an educational thing for my kid. This is really not worth the money. It is cheap plastic and not very realistic. Any moving parts are minimal at best. For a real lesson on an engine I would recommend building one with your child, not this.

1/6 scale 427 Chevy with L-89 alum head option
I've owned 3 of these real engines back in the 60s and 70s so this was a perfect shelfdisplay addition where I keep my street rod and other rat rod projects...Quality is very good with great detail
