My dogs never have fleas. And it's no problem putting it on them. I do it in AM & by PM it's soaked in.

This product - (VECTRA 3D) when applied properly - takes care of my dog's outdoor needs. We live in an area that has a lot of nature - including coyotes, deer, etc. The deer ticks can take our dogs down with Lyme Disease. Before using this product when I first adopted my dog, we were out on a trail where deer often roam. My dog did get a tick on his leg which I didn't immediately notice. Her health failed very fast -- she actually turned pale; loss hair; loss energy -- and vet along with myself attribute it to the deer tick. Once we ensured my dog no longer had any ticks on her and gave her medication which to my happiness (and my dog's) brought her back to good health, I ensured I apply Vectra 3D to her monthly. This product also takes care of other nuisances -- fleas, etc. It was very pricey when it first came out only to Vet offices. I'm happy to be able to buy this product through Amazon Prime's authorized sellers. If you're in an area that is wooded and attracts deer, keep this product in mind. Ask your vet about this product for your pet. I also learned that many dogs that get deer ticks (it only takes one tick) can lead to lyme disease which is life-threating to your animal - dogs do die because of deer tick lyme disease; again. IT IS IMPORTANT FOR ME TO STATE: I do not know if every deer tick contains lyme disease; I am not a vet That is where your vet comes in for a good conversation.

I have been buying these flea drops off amazon for a couple years now. I think they are good quality. I have seen a flea or two on my dog over that time, but generally don’t. It doesn’t seem to affect her in any negative way. It’s crazy how much less expensive they are though, so not sure why that is if they are the same drops PetMeds and the vet offers. Would love to know how they can be so marked down. Overall, pretty satisfied with them though!
