Beautiful lamp. I bought this as a Christmas present for my very picky daughter-in-law and she loved it! If I were using in my home, I would add a base to it, but she was happy with it as it is.

Great lamp
Packed very well, good quality and put together in minutes. I too found the finial fit a little askew so from experience I loosened it a ittle so the shade sits straight. Looks great on a small table in my living room.

Beautiful but harp was defective
Beautiful lamp. Giving it 4 stairs because the harp that came with the lamp was defective. The top part that holds the screw for the finial was not level causing the lampshade to sit crookedly at a very noticeable slant. Buying a new harp for $6.00 fixed the problem and avoided having to return the lamp.

Lamp Wattage
This lamp is perfect for my bedroom. The shade of blue is as shown and matches my colors perfectly. I was surprised and pleased that it was bigger than I expected based on the description. The shade has a nice pattern that is very stylish.Due to the quality of the lamp, I'm giving it an overall five-star rating but I do question the wattage. The specifications listed for the lamp indicated that it could take a maximum 100 watt bulb; however, when I received the lamp, the paperwork indicated a maximum 60 watt bulb. An LED bulb (equivalent to 60 watts) was included with the lamp that seems to put out a good amount of light that is enough for reading. I do intend to contact the supplier just to verify the maximum wattage in case I need a brighter light at some point.
