Florida heat vs. material.
10/2024- well 1year now and they are still in great condition with the Florida heat. No leaves get passed this filter. While all you do is tap it on the roof to dislodge and dirt. Very easy to clean. DON'T HAVE TO OPEN to clean. 👍Looking at the material and thinking of the Florida heat I have my doubts.But it was easy to assemble and fit nice. It looks like it will do the job,if it lasts. Stay tuned for another review in 6 monthsUpdate - so far it does a GREAT job. Stopped all leaves from going down👍

Do not work with pine needles
If you live in a area with a lot of pine or fir trees this produst is not for you, I got two of these for the front of my house and was waiting to see how well they worked to get more for the other area's, we had a wind storm a week ago which caused a lot of pine needle to fall, my house was covered with them and they pluged both of the gutter guards so tight I had to remove them.

worka good for such a simple design. easy to install. Took longer to climb the ladder than to install the unit. well worth the money.

Good substitute
These are a good substitute if tou don't have the money for gutter guard. We had a bird lay a nest in our gutters in the spring and since putting these in we haven't had another

poorly made!
Very cheap plastic that is in 2 pieces. The top and side piece areives flat so that the sides must be folded dow and the tabs snapped into the bottom piece. Even when snapped together the sides bow slightly out because of the pressure on the folded seam. The bottom does not fully line up when snapped together either. Not worth the price. Maybe 1.50 at a dollar store.

Small for 5 or 6” gutters
Really small for 5 or 6” gutters. Will not stay in place very well

It did not fit.
We are unable to use it as the hole is to large for the gutter. We had purchased similar ones a few years back and they slid right in. Unfortunately they did not endure the Spring of 2019. My son is going to work on them this weekend to see if he can fit them. Great idea and great product--just check your diameters!
