Sadly, these brushes do not have enough strength to hold a point when carrying paint. They bend far and spread too easily for enough control to apply fine details. They certainly look nice and are comfortable in hand but if they don't fulfill the purpose they are intended, then they have no real value.My intent was to use them to paint board game miniatures and for that purpose, I cannot recommend them.

I bought this DACO set for watercolor painting, specifically for painting fine lines such as whiskers. I was very disappointed by the inability of these brushes to hold paint. As you can see in the attached photo, when these brushes run out of paint they are out, completely dry. Even with watery paint I got only about a one inch line before they ran out. It might be a different story with oil or acrylic paint but I’ll probably not ever use them for watercolor. Also, as far as comfort, they’re just so-so. When I’m doing detail painting I tend to hold the brush father down towards the hairs which with these brushes was past the fancy ergonomic point so that feature was useless for me. Over all, these brushes just weren’t that great for me.

during lockdown I took up painting by numbers, and many of the kits are very detailed with lots of teeny little numbers - unfortunately, these brushes just can't hold paint well. The one brush that did hold the paint (the angle brush) lasted for almost one full painting, but it started bending at the tip halfway into the painting, and I really had to be careful - but at about ¾ of the way of being done, I had to ditch the brush.The others in the set are useless, huge disappointment for $20 bucks

I love these miniature paint brushes that I use for my reclaimed wood acrylic paintings. They help me get the tiniest of details. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!This is a painting I did on my front door. I live in the USVI so a tropical door was just what I needed to add a huge splash of color.

I am a paint by numbers old man and while I enjoy it a lot, the paint brushes that come with these sets SUCK. I found this brushes after trying a couple other sets, but these are fantastic. Easy to hold and control and best of all, they are made for very fine, detail work which the pbn canvases are. Would buy again.

Love these brushes they are perfect for edging and tiny spots and clean up is a dream! Make sure you wash off the glue before your first use. My absolute favorite company, now! I also bought the larger set of brushes from the same company and highly recommend both sets.

They are very comfortable to use and allow me to paint in great detail, especially small details and hard to reach areas. I don't know how I got by without them! great quality and if taken care of they should last a long time. I have used them many times now and clean them immediately after use and they are still like new. they are my new go to brushes!

These are some very nice brushes, love that they are ergonomic and have notches to hold them. The container that they are in as well is very nice.These brushes are all pretty small tipped so these are ideal for smaller details and areas that need to be painted.
