Original Roast Instant Coffee, 8 oz Jar

Bought the 8oz Jar of Maxwell House Original Roast Instant Coffee. This probably is one of the best instant coffees I've had. I bought a 12oz tumbler cup, and this instructs to use one teaspoon for 6oz, so I use two teaspoons. I'm hurting for money at the moment so this is coming in real clutch, as it tastes absolutely fine without cream and without sugar, flavor is great - I'm honestly pleasantly surprised, I wasn't expecting the flavor to be quite as good for how low the price is. I'll probably resort to this in the future as it's quite convenient. The only thing I can mark as a con is that the little label thing that wraps around the outside of it kind of unstuck itself, so one side pops off rather easily. This doesn't really do anything and doesn't hurt the contents of the product, so I'm not going to deduct a star for this. Either way, I'm quite happy with this purchase.

It seems strange that something like instant coffee and at such an affordable price could do the job so well and taste so good. My husband refuses to drink anything else in the morning even turning down mainstream coffee company drinks for this. Really great product, we buy for our home and office and have for years

I love the value and it tastes great. I buy 2 eight ounce sized jars at a time.

I won't bother you with how this coffee compares to other brands. If I am going to spend money on coffee, I want it to be something I really enjoy. Frankly, other than Maxwell House Decaf coffee, this is the only coffee brand I purchase. I like to keep both regular and decaf on my shelf, preferring regular in the morning and decaf in the evening. I also like that with the convenience of being able to make just the amount I want, there's no waste. While I enjoy drip coffee, I don't like to make a whole pot just for myself, and those 1 or 2 cup coffee makers seem to add clutter to the kitchen counter when you add in a full sized coffee maker as well. So the instant coffee gives instant gratification where drip coffee makers to do not. I really like the fact that I can purchase it through Amazon and not have to go out to the grocery store to purchase it or wait in lines. I am giving this 4.5 stars, since drip coffee is still my favorite.

Love this coffee , but I felt a slight change in the taste of the one I ordered now .

For the price you cannot go wrong. I did not have high expectations but it’s good. Makes a wonderful hot coffee as well as iced coffee. Not too strong and not too weak. The size is good enough for about a month. Good quality.

Good coffee, nothing like Maxwell house coffee. It's been around since I was a child. The smell of it thru the house first thing in the morning. The aroma is pleasing.

It makes a very good robust cup of coffee. It’s much better than I remembered. I bought it because that was what was available but I was pleasantly surprised. Plus it’s OK kosher and kosher for Passover.
