Absolute Beginner - Finally true
Do you know how very many yoga books and videos say they are "absolute beginner" and there is NO WAY to do most of the poses?! This book was mixed in to unrelated items in a search. I took a chance and ordered it. I am pleasantly surprised that it is possible to begin yoga at the "absolute beginning" for the non-athletic (me) and a body in regular pain.

Misleading!
The title suggest this book will be of use to those, like myself, with disabilities that make exercising in bed one of the only ways to promote circulation and flexibility. But is is nothing of the kind. It is a light description of classic yoga poses that the author thinks can be done on a bed.Why or how, for example, "tabletop" (bharmanasana) orCat {Marjararisana) can be reliabily done on a bed instead of a mat is beyond my imagination. It's as if she is recommending these on a trampoline and calling it "Circus Yoga!" Make no mistake this is a misleading rip off of handicapped people who need help developing an exercise program.Shame on the publisher and editor as well for seeking to profit from handicapped people who are bed restricted and in need of a program to keep them flexible. This is a cynical, cute presentation of exercises put on a bed for no reason other than novely. It is Not helpful.

Great Way to Start Your Day or End Your Day!
Bed Yoga: Easy, Healing, Yoga Moves You Can Do in Bed, is another must-have reference for your “Bookshelf." It is excellent for beginners or experienced practitioners of yoga. Bed Yoga is easy to read and comes with easy-to-follow written directions and illustrations on how to do the poses as well as describing the benefits each stretch provides. This book also describes the different forms of yoga and the various breathing techniques, a perfect, concise introduction to the world of yoga.Bed Yoga helps jumpstart my day and as a yoga beginner, helps me remember the different poses. I like the fact that I can pick and choose any or all of them. I can do the same routine or mix it up. Doing “Legs Up the Wall,” is my favorite way to end the day, and if I happen to fall asleep? I’m already in bed.My favorites are the cute stick figure illustrations, and I love the yoga quotes at the end of each section. The hardest part of Bed Yoga? Picking out my favorite quote.

Great way to start (or get back in!)
As someone who has sporadically practiced yoga over the years I found this a refreshing way to 'get back in'. Too many yoga books nowadays seem to be marketed at those who are already fit and thin (and young!). This is accessible to all of us, no matter where we are starting from. It starts with the simplest of poses, but progresses to some moderate to advanced ones. Very inspiring.Note that even though it says 'volume 2', you don't need to have read that one before this! They cover very different subjects.
