We select an optimal balance of materials and processes to achieve maximum performance in each product we design. Every thread, weave pattern, and fabric features are carefully selected for each of our products and their end use. We designed our Aprons to look amazing, be super functional and long lasting. We work with experienced designers, engineers and artisans, to create products that all can love. All our products are made and packed with eco friendly, recycled and natural materials that are compostable, biodegradable or recyclable, so that our great grandchildren will live in a green world that is not full of all the trash that we’re generating today. MEEMA products are made with 100% cotton fabrics using denim scraps from jeans manufacturers and raw cotton waste from yarn mills that would be destined for the landfill. We give these materials a second life, and convert them into beautiful new products.Water is life, but it is limited, and already scarce in many parts of the world. Our upcycled products are a tribute to the appreciation we have for every drop of this sacred resource. Cotton requires vast amounts of water to be grown. Our manufacturing process does not add chemicals or dyes, and uses minimal water and energy, saving up to 20,000 liters of water for every kilogram of upcycled material! Our production is based on zero waste, as our own waste from our upcycling process is later donated to coffee-growers to use as compost, leading the way towards a sustainable and ethical industry, proudly operating under a circular economy, like the earth itself.
