Wow. I’m generally a pretty in depth review reader before buying and I don’t know if I was just too busy this go around, or in too much of a hurry or I just trusted the Vans brand, which I have always loved. But the reviews showing these shoes as some weird camo/dirty looking pattern are 100% legit. What I got is exactly like all the other reviews and not at all like the product image. Shame, the product image is a super sleek looking shoe! Not sure on fit or durability, just giving 1 star based off of a very misleading product.

Great fit

I’m a fan of Van’s shoes and I like this shoe. My only issue is that the picture in the ad shows a charcoal grey shoe but what I received is nearly black with some slightly lighter camouflage blotches that I initially thought were stains. Also, the soles in the ad look like a Carmel color but in reality are a dark green tint. Don’t get me wrong,I still like them and will keep them but it’s not exactly what I expected so I’m taking one star off.

You can’t see it from Amazon’s website before u order. A very clever, subtle Pattern is on the shoes. They are Not Stained. They are Dark Grey or Smoke. Very unique shoe. Perfect fit to size. Good job Van’s!!! Seemingly solid shoe like the old ones I had decades ago. Awesome.

I mean yea it’s a pair of vans, but I can’t get over the fact that they advertise some off grey color and what you get is basically what we’re gonna call “already dirty black” at first glance I thought the mailman dropped them in a mud puddle but the clean tissue paper inside and clean box ruled that out, and here I find in the reviews they just aren’t advertising the color, cause In even the worst of lighting this shoe is not the one they’re showing you, I tried to squint through it so I could bone myself somehow but you can’t do it

I thought these would last a 17yr old a little longer but these things came apart so dang fast. And my son is no athlete, he is a big nerd that never goes outside lol. These came apart within 3 months of wearing them. I kept them, because 3 months is on me and doesn't feel right returning them at that point. But I thought with them being waxed, they would have been a little more durable.
