Expensive, but I love it
I ordered 4 slim minimalist wallets from Amazon to compare:-NOMATIC (lots of cool compartments, but cheaply sewn and the pull tab was a little clunky to use. I felt that Distil Union perfected the pull tab that NOMATIC is trying to emulate. Also the NOMATIC wallet did not hold the number of cards advertised without bursting at the seam. If it were about $5 less, and I only wanted to carry 5 credit cards, I might not have sent it back.)-Thread Wallets (delightful design, and based on aesthetics alone, was the one I wanted to keep, despite being overpriced for what it is (glorified elastic band). Alas, it was not very functional —I couldn’t imagine having to dig my cards out of the very tight elastic each time, but if you never use your cards and truly want minimal, this will take up the least space in your pocket or purse.)-Distil Union (far more expensive than the others, and even then feels like it’s about $5-7 overpriced given its craftsmanship, but in the end, due to its design, which has continued to prove its genius, was the one I kept. Allows you to access cards easily without pulling them all out. Doesn’t keep them so tightly bundled that it’s a chore. Can hold a lot of cards while still seeming really compact and minimalistic. Subway and building entry cards are read through the leather (which means NOT RFID protected, if that’s what you’re looking for). Really wish it had a key ring attachment, though, and crossing fingers for elastic longevity.)-FurArt (smelled heavily of chemicals, and was wider than expected, but highly functional and the absolute thinnest! At its price point, you can’t get anything better.)

Lightweight, simple, and meant to survive
I have had this wallet for nearly two years now, and I can 100% back up its durability. I was initially concerned that the elastic strap used to hold the piece together was going to fail, but it shows no sign of giving up. For me, it holds about 10 cards, and goes with me everywhere. It is sleek, lightweight, and unobtrusive, which is exactly what I wanted. For all the time I've used it, the only wear is a bit of darkening around the edges that meet a lot of contact. Oh, and I cant forget to mention that the stitching used in this wallet is phenomenal.I have brought this wallet with me wherever I go, whether it be daily trips around town, in my backpack on hikes, or in my suitcase on my way to China and Africa. It has been put to the test and has passed with flying colors. Distil Union should be proud of this product. All in all, I have every confidence that this is going to stay with me for years in the future with barely any sign of wear and tear. If you're concerned about it's quality and think it will break in a few months, let me assure you that it will survive just fine.

Good minimalist wallet, just overpriced.
I bought two of these wallets: the red/gray and the black/grey. This is a good wallet, seems to be well made, and has the features I want. However, I returned them because they are overpriced. The high price really hit me when I was holding two and realized the total is $60 together. They just do not feel worth that much. I got another wallet with the same style but was $16, and it has better leather. I am not saying the brand because I don’t want anybody to think I am affiliated. I am not sure if Distil Union could make a profit if they sold their Micro at $16, but they need to figure it out. Here are some things I would change to beat out the competition:-Lose the reversibility. I suspect this drives up the cost of making the wallet. Meanwhile, most customers just pick one color and keep it there. Plus, once the leather “remembers” one side, it is awkward for the leather to be reversed.-Have at least one version that is real, raw, manly, brown, full grain leather. I am talking about the type of leather that shows scratch marks easily and only looks better with age.-Make a second band about halfway down. This band will help secure the cards even more. Opening the wallet completely is unnecessary. This second band can be integrated into the wallet material.-Make a small pocket so that bills can be secured better in combination with the top band.-Set price at $19.99 or less.

The perfect front pocket wallet!
I have purchased a lot of "minimalist wallets" in the past few years. While some of them have been good (like the Crabby wallet), none of them have been "great." Until this one.Top things I like about it:1) The size. It's small, but big enough to hold my cards2) Build quality. I feel like it's incredibly well put together. Even the elastic band holding it together hasn't stretched out yet (as elastic is prone to do).3) The color. I bought the red one, and it's great. The color has worn down a little bit in the 6 months that I've had it, but it's still very red.4) Adaptability. I also carry a Fisher Space Pen with me day to day. The pen clips perfectly over the elastic and is almost exactly the length of the wallet as well. I've been looking for a wallet that could handle this for quite a while (including buying a custom made leather wallet from some dude on Reddit).5) Cards it can carry. I can have 3 cards in it (credit card, debit card, drivers license) and it feels secure, or I can have 3x that many as well as a wad of cash, and it still doesn't feel over stuffed. All in all, this is a great wallet, and I literally have no complaints about it whatsoever.

Good minimalist wallet but not a great solution for carrying more then a couple of items in it.
I ordered this and the BASICS Slim Minimalist wallet to compare. I think both are great at being minimalist wallets, but what I found this lacking was that if you have more then a few cards in there, you have to flip through too much to access what you are looking for. The BASICS by using a dual slot design (if you can find it, you would understand what I mean), allows immediate access to more items. Also I was not sure of the sturdiness of the elastic on this, but based on the reviews here it is fine. Basically I found this wallet to be a glorified rubber band. Is that bad? No. Rather it was too minimalist for me to the extent that functionality was impaired.

Brilliant minimalist wallet.
So after using a tri wallet for years and it starting to show its age, i went to bifold and hated it (lasted a year i just fancied a change). I then brought £5 card older from a local clothes shop (River Island) and quite liked it, it could only hold 3-4 cards and 2 notes i shoved into it, but it was hard to get the cards out. I then decided to research minimalist wallets and then decided to get this one as a birthday gift to myself. So far i love it, its small and discrete. Holds everything i need and has room for one or two unessential cards plus some notes if i ever decide to carry them. Cards are easy to pull out with the pull strap and reversing the wallet is easy. Im happy with the purchase and will no doubt buy other minimalist wallets in the future Distil Union and others!

Love it. I sort of collect these minimalist wallets ...
Love it. I sort of collect these minimalist wallets and this is up there with best. Good price too. I have added RFID shielding, not expensive but would be nice if it was built in.

Perfect for those who don't want a bulky wallet.
Amazing wallet - the size is perfect if you want to carry it in a suit inner pocket and not feel it there. Perfect size, nice quality, highly recommend this product.

Tiny beauty
Beautifully made wallet. The small size is a real boon - sits in front pocket with smart phone much better than my old wallet. Contents are held securely and are easy to access.
