I loved the idea of a stronger mount with aluminum, but even with a wrench and pliers I could not tighten the screws enough to pull the aluminum prongs together with a dive suit case to keep the case from moving fairly easily. Plastic mounts are more flexible and pull tight to keep the camera in place. :-(

If you are looking for a mounting adapter for your GoPro Max this is it. No obstructions or stitching issues with this product. The screw looks like it rubs the camera but there is just enough clearance to tighten the screw.

It is made of high quality aluminum for sure. But the fastener was too loose to secure the camera. So it was not serving the purpose it was designed for. Useless.
