I purchased these energy-efficient replacements for the standard G9 bulbs in use in various fixtures around the house. They are certainly VERY bright compared to standard 40W Halogen bulbs (which is the maximum wattage allowed in many enclosed fixtures due to heat.) However, the brightness appears to come at a cost — these bulbs are very 'cool' and almost bluish in temperature. They are advertised as 3000K, but they 'appear' to me to be 5000K or more. (Being a photographer, I am aware of, and sensitive to, color temperature!) The other issue I encountered is that achieve this brightness, the bulb height is significantly taller than the standard Halogen G9s I had previously bought. I had one fixture where the available space would not accommodate this height. In terms of value for money, I would say these are good bulbs despite the color temperature and size issues which might only be an issue for me. You mileage may vary. :)

Great if you don’t need low profile

Update 6/26/20 Still no flickering still very happy have installed in All of our restrooms . Update 02/26/20 these are still going strong- No flicker no dimming and by far better than last purchase!We bought these to replace other led bulbs we also bought from Amazon that had 4.5 out of 5 stars however they were not bright enough for our bathroom and they seem to get less bright very quickly (within weeks) —these replacements are SOO much better. We are extremely happy with these bulbs so hopefully they don’t have any issues down the road.Also the previous bulbs that we had flickered although they were advertised as flicker free . The flickering was very disturbing and would bother us every single time we were in the bathroom especially at night when light sources weren’t diluting the flickering. These are awesome and have nonflicker so far !

These were very bright when first installed, we were very pleased on how they made out chandelier glisten, unfortunately the life of them was only a couple months. I was looking forward to the bragged on longevity- and was very disappointed. I’m not sure how energy efficient they are since they didn’t last long enough for me to see a difference in my bill.

These are much larger than the halogen bulbs that it replaced, so beware if your fixture needs extra clearance. Overall, the light output is good. Temperature feels about 2700K (warm white) and brightness is roughly like a 60W bulb. But took off two stars for 1) audible humming/buzzing at max brightness, and 2) dimming is not smooth.The humming is bearable but can be annoying. The dimming seems more like two levels: max brightness and a low brightness, and nothing in between. This could be due to my dimmer, but dimming was fine with the halogen bulb.

I was pretty amaze how bright these LED. I have installed to my bathroom vanity light fixture and look bright and clear. It's really enhance my light fixture as well as my bathroom.I just installed about a week so not sure about the longevity and the energy efficiency. Time will tell.I will do another follow-up review in a few months. Let see how everything goes for now.Overall, it looks pretty good.

Make sure you check the width of the led bulb before buying. Some LEDs are thicker than the others. We got this for replacing some halogen bulbs for our fixture from LampsPlus. We wanted daylight-like light in our room which also has a white bed and the white daylight from these LED bulb light up the room quite well. Quality was good, only time will tell. Also note that if you use this with a dimmer, you can experience flickering when there is load. However our fixture is the only one connected on the line to the room so we do not experience any issues even with a dimmer. Just that it works only on the highest and lowest setting, otherwise it flickers. Not a problem for most people.

Two of our 40W LEDs for our dining room chandelier LEDs burnt out. People used to complain the room was a little dim.We stepped up to these lights and it does seem brighter, but not blinding. The color temperature is the same as the last bulbs. The light dispersion seems even and the bulbs seem a bit smaller than the weaker bulbs we had before (slightly taller, but not by much).So far, so good. I can't talk about longevity as we just installed them. Ask me again in two years.

The old LED bulbs did work but not as bright as the new ones.The new LED bulbs are in the kitchen and laundry area, Just wonderful .Have been using5000 to 6000 K bulbs in the work shop and have now with the new G9 bulbs in the kitchen.Great bulbs. Deliver time was great.Would recommend this product and supplier.

I love how bright the lights are - much much brighter than the 3500K light that they are replacing. I only installed them today, so I am not sure if they have longevity. A person should note that they are considerably larger than the halogen light they are replacing.My main concern, with fancy pretty lights, is that the bulb would look LED - but I was happy to see that it doesn’t - whether the light is on or off I don’t see yellow squares.

These bulbs are of excellent quality and come at a very reasonable price. My husband installed them in our Pantry and it took him less than 2 mins to install four of these bulbs in our Pantry..so definitely super easy to install! It brightened our pantry in such a way that I can see every corner of it in a very clear way.It feels like a new place all in all with these bulbs. They fit perfectly and easily.

for the price these g9 lights are a super deal. I can't comment on the longevity of the bulbs, that's tocome. For 6 of these bulbs , I would have to pay 3 times the price at our local hardware store.I hope they last just as long as the seller says.I'm also going to try the 6w ....3000k.

Nice replacement bulbs for my bathroom. A little longer then I would have expected but they still pretty much fit. I don’t think anyone would ever notice but the last row is exposed and create a disco ball effect on the wall. Cheap,they operate much cooler and cheaper. Hopefully it will last a long time.
