These work well for mucking about with a slingshot in the woods and perform much better than using small stones. I do not like using steel ball bearings as they litter where ever they land so these are a great alterantive

It's great that these break down with rain, as we've only been finding 10%-20% of what we shoot - when they miss the empty beer cans they skim across the lawn and remain intact. BUT - 6mm metal balls seem to be more accurate, so we've been mixing it up and using both.

As for my order, I received what is shown on the product description. Quantity, balls size and weight, varnish finish, all good.Just a couple broken ones which can be expected.Will order again

these were purchased for convenience of amazon delivery above any other factor, in order to try and drive off an invading pest critter that is wreaking my garden, in a non-lethal manner.(That didnt work and said pest will be meeting the wrong end of a .22 hollowpoint soon.)These seem very expensive for what they are; the 0.5kg pack gives between 250-300 shots, with as other reviews have noted, a percentage of mis-shaped and broken projectiles.The colours are far more muted than the photos and my shot did not have a 'glossy' finish.They are clean to handle and if you are shooting at softer surfaces, you can recover and reuse a quantity of the shot; they do break up when hitting solid targets and decompose quickly when wet.Do not store in a sealed container, one of the Q+A comments recommended storing in an open plastic tub and this is good advice, they have a moisture content and will 'sweat' and decompose...literally.After sitting overnight in a capped tub, mine were drenched in condensation, stinking and starting to go mouldy.Keep them dry and open to the air and they will be fine; good advice for lots of things actually.If you are happy to wait for delivery, it may pay to shop around for a better deal.

They are tough for plinking but break down easily back into nature.Less prone to bouncing back like some harder target ammo, tending to shatter instead.Really good.

Found my old Barnett Diablo, bought some new elastics & set up a firing range for my kids (& myself!) to have a shoot at!We used pot noodle pots (from 15 feet a pellet would go through both sides with full power! Drink cans, these dented very nicely! Bean cans, only suffered light denting & beer bottles at full force they didn’t smash but rang out nicely when hit! I nailed an old duvet up behind the targets which made reusing shot pellets easier (a sheet would do) they were pretty accurate and when they hit the wooden shelving holding the targets that smashed and left dry dusty splatter marks!I went for the brown ones, they look like slightly smaller malteasers! Bit of dust to sweep up after, and any missed ones will bio degrade in flower beds!Would highly recommend, & will buy again!
