The best way to get water into my bait well. This works much better than the spray heads that I have typically used in the past. Gives more bubbles and much finer bubbles. Creates more surface area for a better transfer of oxygen into the water. Remember the amount of oxygen that can be dissolved in water is dependent on the water temperature. Hotter air temps means less oxygen will stay in the water. A few bottles of frozen water really helps out, especially if you are trying to hold a lot of live bait.

So far this aerator works great.I should note that I use it in a smaller 15 gallon live well. For this application it keeps quite a few fish in good condition even in warmer weather (so far up to about 85 degrees).Pulling air from outside the live well really seems to be a benefit.
