From the inside out H&B - the "foam" as you may think of foam is the wrong description - its a textured cushioned cloth feel material with foam properties that does not tear -rip, smash or move differently glued in place on all the sides and lid that "hugs" the drum. The outer shell is bullet proof molded plastic that can take any abuse gigging garage band or pro will see ( for years) transporting drums - the riveted handle and straps are more like a woven cargo tie down on a military transport plane - unfortunately drums are the hardest to move because of all the pieces and take the most bumps and handling abuse - NOT WITH THESE CASES -

The enduro pro cases provide great protection and are super durable. After quite some time the interior foam has let go from some of my older cases but it is easily fixed with a little adhesive.
