IonPacific ionFan, Portable Air Ionizer/Purifier Fan with Filterless Negative Ion Generator - Ultra High Output 3 Million Negative Ions/Sec Eliminates: Pollutants, Allergens, Germs

After 4 months I still love this IonPacific portable air ionizer especially because it does NOT emit any ozone at all! It silently releases negative ions into the air and it works just as the description says it does. I have serious allergies and asthma and am tired of HEPA purifiers constantly needing new filters and breaking down within a few years so I tried these ionizers and they clean the air in my home better than any purifiers I’ve ever had and I’ve had many over the years. The upright fan in my pic is always in my 300 sq ft bedroom and I turn it on every single night because from the very first night I received it and turned it on I noticed that I slept better and I haven’t woken up in the middle of the night anymore coughing or sneezing and that’s Really a big deal for me especially since it got me through the entire summer pollen season giving me restful sleep. The smaller one on the left In this pic is in our 450 sq ft family room That opens to our 200 sq ft kitchen and it’s on 24/7 because it completely eliminates All cooking odors as well as the the doggie odor in my home from our Siberian Husky and Black Lab. We also had a lingering odor from a few doggie accidents In the family room that no amount of deep cleaning and carpet shampooing seemed to get rid of but this ionizer got rid of the odor! These products work and they’ve made my life so much better because now I breathe easier and I get a restful nights sleep. It has two fan speeds, low and high, both of which are very soft and nearly imperceptible; I only need it on low for my bedroom to get full therapeutic effects, it’s a soft soothing white noise that helps with sleep. Totally worth every penny!! I love these ionizers so much and they work so well that I’m going to get a third one for our front family room.

It seems to clear the air nicely. I enjoy it a lot! Effective.After a small fire in my oven I carried it through the kitchen to help clear the air. My hand became black where it was drawing the smoke through the fan. It really did seem to help.The stand issue is a little uncomfortable and you can’t lie it down anywhere unless you put it in the stand or it will wiggle off and fall on the floor. The charging cord connection is tight and feels too fragile. I’m cautious unplugging the cord from the fan.It’s a good start for the price and works well on my desk in the stand.

It is surprisingly small. And very cheaply made. It fell off it's almost worthless stand, on to a book on my bed a distance of a foot or less and broke into several pieces. I glued it back together but another fan blade broke off in my hand when I tried to glue back on the blade that broke off during the short fall onto my soft bed. Ridiculously cheaply made

This thing was awesome. I loved having a fan because I work in and out of airports and hate to be hot. I had tried a neck fan but found this more convenient and less embarrassing.Unfortunately it fell from chest height and one of the blades broke off and has jammed up the rest. I tried to pry it open but the plastic clips are very strong.The ion generator is a double negative brush head that isn't as strong as my home unit but it does work.

I needed something that would help me breathe better at night (stuffed up sinuses and nose) and after doing a little research, thought that an ionizing fan may be the thing to help.I bought this smaller one because I didn't want to spend a lot of $, in case such a fan didn't make a difference.Within 3 days of using it at night, it finally dawned on me that I had slept through the night without tossing, turning, constantly waking up to get more comfortable!!My energy has increased beyond my expectations because of a good night's sleep.I don't know if this fan will work the same for other people, but I have had a wonderful result.The only thing that I do find a bit annoying at first is how loud the fan sounds on the higher setting (I have it right on my night table near my head), so I will generally keep it on the lower speed, which is much quieter. It still works great even on the lower speed. At times I do run the higher speed, if I'm feeling more stuffed up than usual. It is also small enough to take traveling. I have recommended it to others already.

Bought this thing June 7th 2020. Height of the COVID-19 epidemic and I should have known better. It does seem to have a filter, so it likely is filtering the little bit of air making it through the fan. I doubt this is enough to keep a person safe at their desk in a room full of germs.I repurposed it a few years ago to blow on small computer equipment I want to cool off by a few degrees. Raspberry PIs and battery chargers and the like. Seems to help a bit for that purpose. Could certainly have gotten a better-priced fan.It likes to turn itself off periodically even though I run it always plugged in.So -- not worth it -- but at least I found something to do with it.

I live in an apartment and neighbors' smoke sometimes drifted in. I bought several kinds of air purifiers (hepa filter, charcoal filter, ozone generator), including this ionizer. I think all of them together make the air much cleaner.I have this ionizer running all the time, right in front of me on my desk. The air that comes out of it feels like fresh air from outside.In addition to making nice clean air, it's very nice looking. It's weighted, so even though it looks like it couldn't stand up straight, it does. (Occasionally falls over, so I would like to have some kind of base for it. )I did not yet get my electric bill since I have been running all these things. If it isn't too high, I might buy another one of these. I sort of wish it had an option to plug in to an electric outlet though.Overall -- I love it and recommend it for anyone who likes clean air.

I am using the fan at night in my bedroom and I guess it helps. Being unable to open windows in the horrible Texas heat I hope this appliance is cleaning the air. I am not impressed with the noise level and the light level.
