Go for it, my MK25 loves it
it has some sharp edges to beware of while belting it but once attached, it has an extremely low profile and excellent "grasp."It's curvature fits me PERFECTLY (35 inch waist).

The Best OWB Holster for EDC
When receiving a new piece of gear, especially something for EDC, I really try not to go all gooey over it prior to thoroughly testing it out. I found it difficult with my Ronin Holster, but more on that later. We all have a drawer full of holsters and figuring out what’s good for your EDC is really trial and error. I’m 6’3” and 250lbs, and while I sometimes wear IWB, I’m in and out of my car constantly making the 4 o’clock position a poor choice and my prized keg belly doesn’t make appendix carry easy. Typically I found that a Bravo Concealment RTT holster made it easy to carry OWB in most outfits with a small amount printing but the tradeoff was comfort and access. Now the one drawback to that holster is that it rides very high which slows the draw process due to having to clear your shirt far enough for your buddy to give you a purple-nurple. Again everything has its good and bad points.I recently purchased a new Sig Legion P229 and when registering it, SIG asked if I wanted to have a nice holster quick shipped; what kind of question is that? Of course I did. Kydex wait time can be anywhere from 3-12 weeks which is completely ridiculous. Unfortunately, the leather pieces on this holster allowed the gun to sag outward making its use for concealing obsolete. They did have excellent customer service but it’s pretty much a training holster now. Feeling bummed, I happened to watch James Yeager’s interview with Rock Galotti who mentioned that he uses Gunfighters Inc.’s kydex holsters. Being curious, don’t be dirty, I checked them out and found they had several unique features and a few days later I ordered a Ronin Holster. Now here’s the crazy part, it shipped the next day and I picked the kydex for the front, back and even the rivets… Seriously, custom kydex in one day.GFI hand molds the loops out of kydex making them curve to your body for a comfortable fit and places grip tape on the backside of the loops to hold the holster in place. Both of these can have a perceived downside however, as the lack of screws also means that you can’t adjust position of the holster, but I found it to be very comfortable while remaining low enough for a quick draw. The grip tape really does its job… almost too well. I typically wear an SOE belt with a Velcro lining to hold things in place and the grip tape really catches the Velcro making it hard to put the belt on. However, once on, the Ronin will not budge. I switched to a leather 5.11 belt and voila it works like a charm. The fit and finish is top notch especially toward the muzzle end of the holster where most companies leave large gaps and sharp edges. Every edge is buffed and rounded making snags happen far less than other holsters. Where the Ronin really shines is how close it retains the gun to the body making printing about the same as an IWB. The first day I wore the Ronin I put on shorts, flip flops and a t-shirt and was impressed how much of a difference this holster made. Another bonus is the top of the holster is flat enough to make one-handed racks pretty easy.I spoke and corresponded with Woody from Gunfighters Inc. and they have extremely good customer service. He answered all my questions and made sure to keep me updated on the order. To top it off, they are a veteran-owned company. Needless to say, I have found my new go to for kydex. The Ronin holster is amazing and will honestly change the way you think about concealing OWB.
