Attractive and well-made fixture with multiple operating modes. Light can be operated manually, by motion, or by ambient light levels (turns on when it's dark out), with adjustments for motion and ambient light sensitivity. At full sensitivity, the motion sensor has much better range than other units I've owned. Also has a unique feature that the light intensity can be adjusted from full off to partially on when no motion is detected. In the partially on mode, the fixture keeps the area lit at full intensity when motion is detected, and lit at a lower level at other times.

We bought two of these sconces and the matching lamp post version. All seem sturdy and look great. Very pleased with them.

One of the reasons I bought this light is the styling. I like the retro WWll Army Barracks look. It looks good as my back door light. This light is of a higher quality than what I've seen in the big box stores. It has a sturdy feel, easy to mount, and very good quality glass. It has the appearance of being powered coated, so should retain appearance for a number of years. More expensive, but worth the difference from the big box store offerings.

I just installed this on an ocean front cottage and it looks great. Install was easy and mfg specs shown are a match to the item. One thing not seen from the picture is the clear glass cover is bubbled glass, so to the casual glance it looks as if water drops are collected on the inside. I chose to think it gave the fixture a rustic look instead of observers believing it leaked. Your call.5 stars giving the mfg the benefit of the doubt on how well it holds up against sea air.Update: I've since bought two more of these, so I do think they are pretty good. I'm dropping it a star though. The first one has required some touch up paint, albeit in a tough environment. But the big problem is the threaded cage wire that is the only thing holding up the glass globe. The screw cap is brass, which is fine. But the wire is not and had rusted through completely causing it to snap off when changing a bulb. Fortunately I was able to decently rig it and now strongly recommend applying a bit of grease to the threads first thing.

This light is great. Simple yet elegant. I wanted a light that spread more light toward the ground and this fit the bill perfectly. Lights the front of my house nicely.

Love the look, but started to rust within 2 years. Tried painting with Rustoleum but that didn't last long either. We are four blocks from the ocean so the elements are hard on everything.

Ordered these to match my existing lights. Easy to install and works beautiful.

Nice looking update for my front porch. Took awhile to figure out where the controls were.. push lightly on front sensor area and push to the right. Controls are hidden behind. We have a decorative Edison bulb in ours (this is the 10" version, a regular or Edison bulb may NOT fit in the 8" one).. light gets brighter when someone walks in it's path. It comes on automatically at dusk... you can tweak the controls to adjust the amount of time you want it on.

Solid product

We liked it right away as it looked the way we were hoping it would. We have not yet installed it but will do so in Spring. It will light up the “Bat Cave” where we park our little SUV. Actually it's a small carport.Diane & Fred
