I wasn't sure about how this was going to work. I have a game on my PC that I wanted to play on my TV, and so I waded through the sea of products of this type hoping that one with a high grade and many reviews would be a good bet. Well, I was not disappointed!However, this is a little tricky to get to work. I had to look up some troubleshooting on the internet (and there may actually be someone who has already mentioned this in a review), but it wasn't enough for me to mark the rating down. This is awesome. If you are using Windows10, then it may be tricky to get to work...I had to go into my bluetooth section and find it there, try to connect it and then go to my wi-fi connections and connect it there. Once I did that, the software (you have to find it online, but it's pretty easy) recognized it and when I clicked on it my PC was instantly displayed on my TV! I didn't have to mess with anything else. It was that easy!So I was able to sit on my couch and play my game (with the help of the wireless controller that I purchased and also gave 5 stars). Mission accomplished! =]

We wanted to use this to show pictures and videos from our phone and tablet on our TV. It took a lot of trial and error to get it to connect to our devices, and every time we want to use it, it's a struggle to get it to work. definitely not worth the trouble. the video is grainy and can be choppy at times.

Not clear on installation. Frustrated can’t figure it out.

Doesn’t cast Hulu or work with new apple phones

Use this product when I go away. Hook up to the hotel TV to watch whatever you want off your phone. It works well once you figure out how to set it up

This "Dongle" does not work very well. The first one I received got very hot to the touch and did not produce a steady and clear image. The image on my TV was very choppy and would freeze up or distort as random times. I would not recommend this product. I requested a replacement and the second one I received was defective right out of the box. When I plugged it in it would say I needed to release the button. (In the center of the disk is a reset button) I am guessing that the manufacturing of this product is done so cheaply that the button was not lined up with the board correctly and if they had any quality control this would have been caught at the factory. I will be returning both of these and looking for something made better and hopefully by a company that takes pride in the products they make.

The media could not be loaded.  I was hoping this would solve my gaming woes: I want to game on my big screen TV in the living room, but my gaming PC is in my office. I figured if it was advertised as being capable of streaming UHD (4k) video at 30fps then it could at least do Full HD (1080p) at 30fps. It did not and it could not. I also tried using it with my PC less than 5 foot away from the dongle/adapter - same experience.Sadly, the video stream was choppy even just doing normal, everyday stuff like moving apps around or scrolling. Even after scrolling, parts of the picture are left fragmented and jagged. (See the video, excuse the background sounds).I had to forget about gaming with this, I couldn't even watch a Youtube video without experiencing regular distortions of the video and audio - and I was using a 1080p screen - I could only imagine how this would perform with 4k..I bought this in September 2019 and a year later, I'm thinking back wondering why I didn't thoroughly test this within the 30-day return window. Maybe I got a lemon, but that's what this review is about - what I got. Hopefully, your experience is better :)

The media could not be loaded.  Excellent product Used for my Goggles Yuneec and my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Very easy install

This product had worked for about 5 minutes until it stopped working. I did everything as instructed and it just kept disconnecting and couldn’t be found. Eventually it just wouldn’t show on the television. I would not recommend it at all. Pay the extra money and buy a Chromecast.

The software and instructions were not as easy as I thought it should be.I finally got it working but tried different software before it worked. working well now.

I bought this to stream Shaw Bluecurve from my Samsung phone, but Shaw wont allow the stream. The unit mirrors the screen, yes, but the Bluecurve app knows you are casting it, and will not play. Unfortunate. Will continue using laptop with HDMI cable until I find another solution. Was easy to set up and get operational. Would work great for pics, but not streaming services from Shaw at least...

I gave 2 star only because even though what it did was unusable, it TECHNICALLY did do as advertised.It does provide an Apple mirroring point to your TV. However, the mirroring was buffing all the time, constant picture pauses and screen freezing while it buffered. There was never more that 15 seconds of video with no jittering or pausing. This on an empty 2.5 G network! I hooked a Roku to the same TV, same network and same iPhone and got video streaming so smooth I couldn’t tell I was streaming. Sadly, my Roku won’t mirror my iPhone app which is what I need.The setup is convoluted and confusing and I’m a programmer of 37 years so I feel for non tech types.All in all it’s a complete waste of money.

When I connect it to an iPhone, the connection drops every now and then, the mirror image disappears irregularly;When connected to an iPad, 1) the connection is not stable at all, videos i put on stop suddenly here and there, 2) when you zoom to have the video image clear, the captions are blurry; when you adjust to have the captions clear, the video itself becomes blurry.the customer service responds slowly and is not very helpful in guiding you other than throwing you links
