I painted it white but like everyone said you need to sand the hole/ stokes a little to get them in. Also the wood wasn't threaded for the hook, and I didn't have a drill on me so I ended up just having to super glue the hook in. I with there was a hand drill or something included get it in right. Great for the price though.

I can make this work by drilling out the holes bigger and sending it back would cost more than the item itself!However, I'm disappointed as this is a simple yet avoidable mistake! I think a refund is required!

These bases for baby mobiles are great quality and worked well for my needs. They do not come with eyehooks or anything to hang your individual mobile items from each arm, but I was able to find what I needed at the hardware store. It does come with a central eyehook on the round middle part so you can hang the mobile. Arrived quickly.

Not plug & play. Takes some DIY tiny tools to put together. Perfect size for a small mobile. I disagree with reviews that it’s cheap wood. It’s pretty solid. Each piece is nicely sanded. No splinters. It is raw wood so will need paint/stain or sealant. I still recommend wood glue for the arms… after you dremel out the holes a little so that the arms will fit. But they will fit tightly with a little tapping from a soft mallet … after you dremel the holes. Also you definitely need a tiny little drill bit in the top hole so you can screw in the hanging loop. The wood is too hard to get the loop to screw in no matter how hard you try & it is not pre-drilled. The quality is good but if you don’t have some tools you won’t be able to put it together.

The arms are to big to fit into the center piece that's suppose to hold them. Gonna have to make the holes a bit bigger for the arms to sit into the center for it to work.

Just got this in the mail and I’m picturing it sitting on a ship from China for 6 months at sea. HOW is the one metal part - the eyelet screw to hang it from - completely RUSTED? It looks like it was picked up off the ground from an old service station. It left some discoloration on the wooden parts, but not too terribly. Not impressed.

Expect to have to glue the pieces in place as the holes are definitely too big. But you cannot beat the price!
