Good bang for the buck.
I used this on my most recent hog hunt in east Texas mounted on my AR10 chambered in .308. It aligned pretty well with my red dot sight, was off just a few MM even with the provided spacer. It worked well and held up good for 3 days of rugged use. I hope it continues to hold up! It was also half the price of its nearest competitor. Only down fall so far is the zoom in and out is long winded. I set it at 3x and left it there still managed to bag 2 hogs in 1 engagement while they were running.

Incredible package for the price.
Let me cut to the chase. This is an incredible package for the price. You seriously can't go wrong. The magnifier is nicely packaged in a matte black box with a glossy Tacticon logo and product name. Well protected in foam cutouts. Included is everything necessary to make it work with whatever you have mounted. There's even diagram/instructions in case you're unsure or unfamiliar with what you've purchased.I have it paired with a Vortex StrikeFire II and needed to use the included shim to raise the magnifier up. No issues, it's working great. If I didn't already have a red dot, I would seriously consider the matching Predator sight based on the quality of the magnifier. I mounted it so it opens up to the right (I'm a lefty and wanted it out of the way of my offset flip up sights), no problems. The release to flip the magnifier is big and easy to push and locks the magnifier nicely into either position. Easy one handed operation. The magnifier itself is crisp and clear and has a focus ring to adjust the focus if it's blurry. Everything about it feels solid and well put together. The adjustment screws make it really easy to move the glass to help center the red dot. It doesn't take much.I'm seriously impressed with the complete package. I honestly feel like I paid too little for what I received. This is my second purchase from Tacticon. The first being the offset flip up sights. The quality of the products at the price point cannot be beat.

Worthless warranty and support
Updated: This review may not make sense if you don't read the original disappointed review included below the update.Tacticon eventually contacted me via email and sent me a replacement unit. They didn't ask for the original to be returned, which was pleasantly surprising. I'd be happy to return it to them as I can't do anything with it, but at this price point it's probably not worth their time to repair it. The new unit is also labeled as a Falcon V1 but it looks different as shown in the new photo I've added. I'm not sure if it's a newer or older version but I think I like this design better. This unit lined up with my inexpensive Bushnell red dot almost instantly. I can see a magnified focused image through the red dot without bobbing my head like a chicken. The new unit functions as expected. I don't know how it compares to more expensive units as this is the only magnifier I've ever had, but based on the quality in relation to the price I give it five stars. Unfortunately, I have to remove one star because the communication with Tacticon over the warranty was poor.------------------------------------------------------Original Review:------------------------------------------------------I will consider changing my review if someone from Tacticon contacts me and fixes the problem as well as addressing the lack of support, but right now I have to rate this as one star. This unit was defective right out of the box. I sent them an email at their support mailbox and waited two days for a response. Nothing. Then I tried calling them. No one answers. After the fourth call on day three I left a message. The next morning I tried calling again, and still no one answered. Finally, I tried using their warranty page on their website. After going through the required process, the webpage gives me an error message and recommends trying again later. I tried again later with the same result. I like to support American companies and especially veterans, but this is some of the worst support I've seen. I suspect I will never be able to get my unit repaired or replaced. You should be prepared to toss your money in the trash if you get a defective one.The issue:I purchased this in Dec 2021 but for complex reasons I didn't get to unbox it until late this summer (2023) when I finally had a chance to attend a rifle class at the national training center (CMP). It was being finicky so I put it back in the box and focused on the rifle skills with just the red dot sight. This week (in Oct 2023) I decided to try and get it installed. No matter how I tried to align this with my red dot sight, it would not work. It's a struggle to get the magnifier to display the red dot sight image even when it looks like it's perfectly lined up externally. The red dot always appears at the top edge of the magnifier and there's no way to get it close to center. Adjusting it takes the red dot completely off the image where you can't see it. In addition, the eye relief is impossible to get right, as the image is completely black if you aren't exactly in the right spot. I've never owned a magnifier before, so I didn't know how they should behave.I finally figured out that the lenses seem to be misaligned internally. Externally, the front and rear lenses look perfect, so it has to be an internal lens that's out of alignment. The image is not round, it's "oval" and you always end up seeing part of the internal tube. This magnifier has been defective since day 1. In the photos I've included, the magnifier is lined up perfectly with my camera. The first image is with my camera zoom, the second image is 1X. It should have a round image appearing in there. Total piece of junk. If I don't hear back from Tacticon in the next week then I'll probably go buy a Bushnell, and avoid buying anything from Tacticon ever again.

Best bang for your buck
This is a dang good 3X magnifier. Now remember, this is NOT a top of the line, super expensive accessory, but for the ~$70 you pay, the quality and functionality far exceeds my expectation. The glass is as clear as it gets for this price point (if you want better/clearer glass then you’ll have to pay a lot more). The installation was smooth and easy; it only took about 30 seconds to mount. It aligns perfectly with my Sig Sauer Romeo5- no shims needed, and I mounted it to flip to my right with no issues. It took a few minutes of fiddling with the lens adjustments to get my red dot to the middle of the view, as the adjustments do not work like your traditional windage and elevation- the instructions DID state that that was the case, so as long as you understand that you, shouldn’t get frustrated. Just play around with the adjustments and you’ll figure it out.I have not shot my rifle with this attached yet, so I cannot comment on it’s accuracy or durability. But as for out of the box construction and installation, it is solid, easy to install, impressive quality, and I have no complaints. If you want a good 3X magnifier, but don’t want to break the bank, then this is the one for you.

WOW. Yet to run it under a full test but amazing FOV and eye relief
Seriously — this was better than items 3x the price. I cannot believe how simple it is — no added gimmicks. That keeps the price down I suppose. It works and it’s super well made. The eye relief on this is PHENOMENAL and the focus adjustment is actually super nice and noticeable while also being stiff enough that it won’t accidentally turn from bumps. So far so good. Can’t wait to make sure it performs well under recoil. The mounting system seems very secure though compared to most. I like that it’s not QD because (although I do love the ones that are well made) even the expensive ones sometimes are poorly made. Nothing is more frustrating than removing a QD rail mount in the field and seeing internal springs either slip out or break and fly away into the brush either way.
