Dragon Ball Z: The Tree of Might - The Movie (Uncut Edition)

A note of caution, the product listed is not the one being sold. The cover art shown is for the original Pioneer release with the Ocean House Dub. However, the product being sold is the later Funimation Dub. Thankfully, my seller refunded my purchase, but be careful. Great movie either way, I just prefer the original dub.

Dbz is a great action movie. Eating the fruit from the tree gives u power 3 or 10 times your strength. A must see for fans

This movie is pretty good. The story and the action in this movie is pretty cool. Also the villains in this movie are pretty cool especially Turles. Turles is so evil and his fighting is just cool. Lots of cool fights in this movie, Goku vs Daiz, Yamcha vs Armond, Tien and Chaiotzu vs Raisin and Lakasei, Gohan vs one of the twins. Goku vs Turles is by far one of the best fights with Goku in it. Definitely check this movie out.

Don't get you're hopes up with this one. The movie starts off with a probe of some sort landing on the earth, causing a fire that destroys a forest. The heroes use the dragon balls to wish the forest back. Aliens arrive, the heroes fight them, it ends with the main villian gaining much more power than even Goku, then Goku becomes even more powerful than him, kills him, end of story. The original version of this movie is okay, it's fun to watch at times, fun to fast forward at others. This english dub only makes it worse. There are parts where the dialog really drags, other parts where small snipets appear to have been cut out. I believe this is uncut, so that is a plus. It soars above the cut version shown on cable, but it still lacks compared to the previous movie, "The Worlds Strongest". The only downside The Worlds Strongest had was a corny story. This one not only has that, but an odd enemy that makes no sense with the main storyline, and used fight scenes. The animation doesn't seem to be of any higher quality than the series. Music is good, MUCH better than the crap used in the Dubbed series. Best scene: Goku using the kaio ken attack killing several enemies. Worst Scene: restoring the forest with the dragon balls. If you have to get it, get the DVD so you can watch it subtitled the way it was meant to be seen. All in all if you're a DBZ fan you should see it, but buying it may not be a good choice. If you're an anime fan all in all, you might want to pass this one up.

Earlier movies aren't as good as the older ones, but Turles is one of the often forgotten villians. I wish there was more character backstory, but what can you do?Must see.

this is an epic dragonballz movie. goku wups up on on the space pirates then they get fruit from the tree of might. then its the dumps fore goku and then goku uses the spirit bomb and and gets his spirit bomb bounsed back at him then uses it agin and turdless gets his head stuk in the tree the end

Una de las cosas que mas me gusta de las películas de Dragon ball es que recrean varias escenas de la serie y la segunda se puede decir que es una parodia de la Bella durmiente, cosa que se puede intuir por el titulo. Dejando a un lado el argumento de las películas, lo único que NO me ha gustado es que Selecta visión haya sacado las películas en formato individual cuando habría sido mejor tanto para Selecta visión como para los fans hacerlo en un pack en bluray con las 3 películas, cosa que podría haber hecho perfectamente como si hizo con las de Dragon ball Z mas la de Súper, haciendo un total de 18 películas, pero con estas ha decidido sacarlas de una en una con un precio un poco excesivo por películas que no duran ni una hora y que no tienen ni un solo contenido extra, me parece muy mal por parte de Selecta visión, que vergüenza, ya les vale. Pero si las he comprado es porque la nostalgia ha podido conmigo y ya no podía esperar a que algún día saliera en un pack. Si sois fan de Dragon ball y os gusta tanto como a mi darle un voto de confianza, os compensara darles una oportunidad y hacer un esfuerzo económico para tenerlas.

Soy fan de Dragon Ball. Y compraré todos los Ovas de Dragon Ball. Pero Selecta Vision ha hecho una guarrada. Sólo ha metido 1 película por Bluray cuando perfectamente caben 2 o las 3 de Dragon Ball como en Dragon Ball Z. ¿Mi consejo? Esperad a qué estén en Rebaja. Yo las compré en oferta del Black friday. No considero para nada que su precio sean 15 euros cada una. Además, esta tiene un error ortografico (para mí sin importancia).

Chapuzas y defectos por parte de Selecta Visión.En el menú no incluyen que se puedan ver las escenas.No permiten cambiar al instante el audio ni tampoco los subtítulos. Esto quiere decir que no podrás poner otro idioma con tu mando a distancia pulsando el botón "audio".No es posible quitar los subtítulos automáticos.No hay la opción de ver la película en japonés sin subtítulos, ya que tampoco deja cambiarlo con el mando a distancia, ni siquiera aunque te metas en el menú de la misma película.En la contraportada pone "Krilin", pero en los subtítulos "Klilyn". Ni ellos mismos se aclaran en cuanto a cómo se escribe.Sigue el exceso de brillo alto.Subtítulos con un poco de retardo respecto al audio japonés.Siguen poniendo mal el término "remasterizada".Audio en castellano con reducción de ruido.Problemas de lectura en consolas como la Xbox One.En esta película se notan más los defectos de imagen al transcurrir la mayor parte en sitios oscuros.En resumen, no solo siguen con los mismos problemas que la anterior, sino que desgraciadamente se añaden más.Llamarles estafadores e incompetentes es quedarme corto.En breve saldrá la tercera película de Dragon Ball, seguramente con los mismos problemas. No han salido todas a la vez porque cada una vale 15 euros y sumaría un total de 60 euros las 4 películas de Dragon Ball.Para que la gente pique tienen que sacarlas poco a poco.

Al menos a fecha de junio de 2022 las que están llegando de esta película, llevan la carátula corregida, no sé si pasará también con la primera o no.

Sobre la película, pues me ha faltado la opción de 4:3, aunque fuese la versión de DVD y subtítulos en catalán, por lo demás genial. Sobre el producto en sí, la caja me ha llegado con una tara, tiene el logo de BR impreso abajo y dentro de la filmina, buena edición especial... Y en la carátula pone "REMASTARIZADA" en vez de remasterizada, menuda racha con Dragon Ball y las erratas.
