The buttons seems hard to push sometimes, but it works

I ordered this remote to replace my old remote because it got dropped into water. By the time it arrive a few weeks later the old remote had dried out and was working again. I decided to swap them out anyway so I would know if the new remote worked. It functioned great for 3 days until it too got dropped into water. I pulled out the batteries and left the cover open for a few days and tried it again. Now it works great again. That tells me that this remote is just as good as the original.I also compared the range and function. Both remotes appear to operate identical.The only difference I have found is the color of the direction button is slightly different.At this point I can’t tell which was the original.

My remote died this week and I looked at remotes on amazon. Which was helpful because I didn’t think to look for a roku app (which got me through the few days I didn’t have a remote, but worked maybe fifty percent of the time), until I read someone post a review saying he had used it when they lost their remote.I read the reviews for remotes and my takeaway was that some people were skipping over the fact that these remotes have model numbers and they are only useful if you have a roku tv, not just the plug in roku. Mine worked as soon as I put batteries in it. Weirdly, that is kind of confusing, because the roku app worked with my roku tv (half the time anyway). I’d recommend this remote, if you have a roku tv.Updated review: I purchased this in Sept. 2019, and it lasted me a year and a half (now it works - sometimes). Which, I did order another one tonight, so just be aware these are knock-offs, not the original (which is why they’re so cheap) and don’t expect them to last all that long.

Remotes get worn out or iffy over time so started searching. Cannot buy direct from Roku so a web search pointed to several vendors. Chose Amazon since I have an account. Took a little searching since Roku makes numerous models and they are specific to your TV or Roku box.Have your Roku TV or Roku box model number to insure you get the right remote. Mine specified on Amazon page for the Sharp TV models I have. Checked upon arrival and they worked perfectly.The replacements are inexpensive enough to keep on hand as the TV will probably outlast the remote.Overall glad to have found them and at reasonable price.

This was a replacement remote for my Sharp Roku TV. We're a week into use, and because this TV uses IR, we've been sold the wrong remote 13 times now. I probably will keep 2-3 for backups for other TV's in your home and have a online sale on the rest. Right now the remote is very new, and is still being broken it. That's the only downside. I like that the volume and mate buttons are located on the side. So, all in all, I'm satisfied with this purchase

A good inexpensive remote that works just fine.... except it doesn't turn the TV on. I have to remember to turn the TV on before I sit down.Once the TV is on, all of the functions work just fine, and the power button will turn the TV off when I'm done, it just won't turn it on.

We have a golden retriever puppy who is living his best life and eating everything that's not edible in the house, to include all of our remotes!! We ordered these (2) replacements yesterday, they came today and worked right out of the box! Now we just need to keep them up high where the puppy can't get to them! :)

Bought this remote as replacement. So far I’ve had it about 3 days and it gets the job done. Did notice that you have to constantly click on buttons several times to get to whatever function you’re trying to reach (volume control and arrow buttons to change channels.
