Ultimate Performance Advanced Ultimate Compression Achilles Gel Support, S/M, Black/Blue

I have had an achilles problem since rupturing it playing lacrosse 30 years ago. Over the years I have had dozens of supports and straps and retired from sport twice when it became unmanageable (usually after a reoccurrence of the problem). Well, it reoccurred again thanks to 3G and I brought this last week to replace some supports that weren’t helping. Two hours of lacrosse today and a 6k run yesterday and my achilles is good. I am chuffed with this product, it isn’t pain free on me as the achilles is already sore, but after removing it, I feel fine with good movement. I am guessing the silicone pad makes all the difference as it compresses the affected area and I brought this particular product as it wasn’t dramatically expensive and I half expected it would go in a draw with the others. It won’t.

Snug fit but was fine for my size 8 foot. Great for getting back to the gym after Achilles surgery. Agree with others that post work out there is no aching so that's a great start. I have only used it 4 times and the layers on the strap have already come apart however it still works. Quite disappointed that after paying good money for it this has happened so quickly!!

I dont normally do reviews but I really really love this support, its quite tight to get on, I got the S/M and am a UK size 6 women, you then make sure the padded inside is on your achilles tendon and the blue section on your heel, then tighten the strap around it, I've been able to get back into my power walking and some jogging again, the best bit is that once I've done my walk etc and taken the support off my tendon doesnt ache like it did before. A great help to keeping fit while still having tendon issues.

Only for you if you have slim feet and ankles in this size, I do and it fits well and snugly. Good for walking in but agonising to drive in for any distance, I was searching for a pull in to take it off as it was so painful on my already damaged tendon.

Self diagnosed tendonitis so might be part of the problem but I found after a while the level of pressure (even without the Velcro strap) caused more pain. Stopped wearing it but still carry it with me just in case when playing sport as it does help for short bursts.

Never done a review but if this will help someone else then here we are. So Iv had Achilles tendinitis for nearly 2 years which has seriously effected my performance in the football pitch and I was considering giving up completely. Until I tried this support and wow Iv just played my first 90mins in years and didn’t even notice my Achilles pain i actually can’t believe it. Who ever invented this in want to give you a hug haha anyway if you are thinking of buying one then do it

Worked well while being used during exercise (I found it uncomfortable to drive with because the strap would cut into my foot) however, it started to tear after less than 2 weeks of use (and I did not use it every day). Very disappointed.

I bought S/M as suggested. Way too small! My feet are a size 6 and this product caused more pain than helped. I had to take it off shortly after putting it on. Disappointed
