Top quality and excellent value
So glad to have found this product as it is perfect! I like that these non-pareils are salt-packed, easy-to-store once opened, long shelf life, small/firm/flavorful and perfect size format. And I love also that these are from Spain.I often use these in egg or smoked fish salad. Tartares (tuna, salmon). Sometimes I buy tuna fillets in a glass jar (like Ortiz), empty the olive oil, then add my own, plus these capers.Remember to pick out any large salt granules, soak for about 15 mins and pat dry before using — otherwise salt packed capers are too salty. These are better than flavorless, water packed and water-logged capers that expire within a week.

This is exactly what I wanted.
I love these capers. It’s a huge jar, it’ll probably last me a year. Yes they are salty but they have a great fresh caper taste and I like the saltiness. I like to avoid vinegar. You only need a few capers to add a big punch to a salad or another dish. It’s easy to put a few spoonfuls in a bowl and pour hot water over them to separate them from the rock salt, then keep the bowl in the fridge ready to go. One thing to note, after a few weeks the metal lid started to show a couple rust spots around the edge from all the salt. I replaced the lid with one of my silicone replacement lids

Something for a Deticated Cook
These may not be for the casual weekend cook. There is prep-time and adventure into new and totally different flavor profile from "pickled" capers. The time is well worth the effort.

Good taste, but too much salt
I know these are packed in sea salt, which we wanted, but in our case the jar appears to be packed with about 50% salt or more. So the capers end up being pretty expensive considering how much usable product you end up with. The taste was good though. The capers themselves are pretty small in size.

Great preserved capers.
I prefer the capers preserved in salt These are very good capers, preserved well, taste is spot on. Plus, they are on my subscribe and save program, so I never run short!

Absolutely DELICIOUS
I absolutely LOVE these capers. They are DELICIOUS. They're preserved in salt instead of vinegar, so you need to rinse them off (like in a colander or strainer), and then soak them for a bit. They'll still be salty, but I don't mind. Salt is good for you (contrary to old mainstream baloney ideas). I really despise vinegar and so this is a real find. Just ordered a second bottle!

Soak Them!
Everyone who is saying they're too salty is not following the instructions. Soak these in water for 15-20 mins. Then spoon them out of the water, try to leave as much of the settled salt crystals behind as possible. Rinse them. Maybe soak them again. Then they're going to have the right level of saltiness for you!
