Disappointed in this gosh tank
This fish tank was nice to start with - Within 3 months the pump started to show signs of not work3 and a half month it is completely not working.The tank has been well looked after and followed the instructions.This is so sad as it was a gift and sat nice in my kitchen.Now I have to research another tank as my fish will die that my grandkids love.Not recommended

Shame that this takes so much battery life.
Its a well made product but as it runs off of a usb lead to a portable battery, I found that the battery runs down very quickly which means that it cannot be left should you go away. You'd be better to purchase a 'plug in' type aquarium, in my humble opinion.

Faulty airflow, otherwise very nice
I posted a review before, but need to change it. Due to the design of this tank the water moves around far to quickly to keep happy fish. I have spent weeks setting up the tank, getting the water right and adding plants, and have just now added two Neon Tetras who look absolutely terrified by the water speed. Even with the bubbles on a very low setting, due to the small size of the tank the water still circulates very fast. Only buy if you are looking to keep aquatic plants

Nice small tank
Nice tank. I like aquaponics idea. It is perfect for an office environment. I would advise people to check if the fish/shrimps/other animals you want to keep can live in an 8l tank, I think very few species will do well there. The filter and the light work well. The glass is acrylic and is prone to scratches so be careful. I think the only thing it is missing is an adequate heating system

Good bit of kit
Products is brilliant well made and simple to get up and running but has no red coloured led only changes blue and green which is a little annoying but not end if world

lovely product really simple to use was very impressed they even have a separate dip in the lid for the heating cable to run threw. very well thought out product.

Disappointed
The light is on but the pump just doesn't work at all. I tried to "double click" the power button as what the customer service team told the other customer but it didn't work. Feel so desperate right now as my fishes are going to arrive soon.
